I was a little skeptical in getting these shoes due to the reviews about the heel portion of the shoe rubbing and all. I have not gone on long distance runs in them yet, but just walking briskly with them laced up snug did not give me any issues. This is my second pair of Asics that I have purchased and I purchased them simply because of the comfort of the shoe. New Balance was my go-to for comfort shoes, but Asics is holding their own in providing a very comfortable shoe. I am a youth pastor and often take students to a lot of events that require a lot of walking around between activities, I look forward to seeing how these shoes fair during our week-long summer camp this year. I would definitely recommend these shoes for purchase, size and fit are perfect and run true to size.
Very comfortable. I used to have terrible foot pain problems such as plantar fasciitis and also shin splints. I bought at least 15 different styles/brands of shoes before I fell in love with asics. I always get the gel quantum 180 or 360. 360s are a bit squished but I love them both. This exact shoe looks stunning in person. I am trying to work up to doing a 5k with my daughters in March so I got myself some eye catching, for friendly shoes to start my personal couch to 5k thing. Also even when I was well over 300 pounds these shoes took a beating and helped my feet a lot. Now, I've lot quite a bit of weight but I do have peripheral neuropathy in my feet, and these shoes even help me with that problem. I also wear asics to work. I got special permission to wear running shoes to work due to my foot problems. Anyway, sorry for the long message. Great shoes!
These shoes fit perfectly i had some previous concerns with some of the reviews that mention some problems with the back of the shoe but mine fit perfectly it doesn't rub against my achilles tendon. The color is really nice( red and black) i love them they are so comfortable.
I run long distances daily, and have always been an Asics fan. Love the support on my Arch as well as the way their shoes shape around my foot. The design is simple but stylish, and blends in well with pretty much anything i wear.After 3 runs, I felt like the shoe was wearing in nicely. Some slight numbness at the beginning (totally normal), and have not looked back since! Very much considering a second pair!
This is my 5th pair of ASICS Men's Gel shoes and they continue to impress me with the comfort of the shoe. I walk and run quite often and the shoes hold up under rigorous activity.

Previously I have worn Asics Cumulus or Nimbus but the heal fabric wore out to quickly. I tried the Quantum 180 3's and find them more comfortable and so far, more durable.
