Excellent material and comfortable.
This is a good shoe for the price. Nothing fancy, but it fits well and is comfortable. Really like that it has rubber soles. Hate synthetic soles- too slick. Kids need traction for as fast as they can turn and move. Doesn't have much for arch support inside, but inserts can fix that, I suppose. They seem reasonably sturdy. They just might survive for a few months.
My son wanted to start running with us. He had Under Armor sneakers that really offered no support for his pronating feet. He came home from our first run with pain in his ankles. I immediately looked up running shoes for kids and found these. They were perfect. The heel support keeps his feet straight and the cushion is perfect. I will probably buy another pair for him and ditch those other, non-supportive sneakers. Buy without hesitation for running or just for a good pair of supportive sneakers.
Giving 4 stars only because the sizing runs so small, otherwise it would be a full on 5 stars! The toe slants in which is why these run so small! So be sure to buy up a size or two!!!! We had to return a couple of pairs because the toe was just too tight on him. But this is my son’s second pair of these shoes because he loves them so much. They are super cute! The salmon color is adorable for boys too. Good quality and great for an active boy who runs around non-stop. He grew out of the first pair fairly quickly (again, I think it was due to the toes being slanted), but we will keep buying more pairs because they are so cute and comfy for him. Just make note of the size!!
My kid’s last shoes are size 4.5, so I ordered 5.5 first, but I underestimated how fast my son grows last summer. 5.5 is way too tight, so I changed to size 6.5, they are a little bit large, but there is no space between heels and shoes, the shoes design is very well and wrap my son’s feet just right. I believe these pair can last at least half year. It’s a good purchase. My son loves them!
I desperately needed new workout shoes. I have previously worn these athletic shoes, and really liked them. I am an adult petit woman who wears a small size, 4.5-5, so I am able to buy a children’s athletic shoes. These shoes are extremely comfortable, and wear well for various activities-cardio/weight classes, boxing, walking, etc. I purchased two pairs, and for the price, I may buy another pair. Highly recommended!

this shoe is perfect. My son loves them and this is the 3rd year in a row we purchased ASICS for our kids for back to school sneakers. Both kids had their sneakers last the eNTIRE year. any other year previous we had to buy 2 or 3 pairs before the year ended because the ones we bought fell apart. We always buy 1.5 sizes bigger to allow for growth and have never regretted buying ASICS
