We've been buying Asics for a while now. These are fine, but seem to run a tiny bit small.
My 8 yrs old daughter loves this! Fits exactly as expected. ASICS have good arch support even in most of their kids shoes.Durable and easy to wash with just garden hose outside after being accidentally muddy after being active all day in all weather.

We have struggled mightily to find shoes to properly fit my narrow footed girl. The asics gel contend 5 ps might be our answer! My daughter has only tried them on and bopped around the house in them so they have not yet been fully tested out in the world, but so far they seem like an excellent option for her narrow feet. The overall shoe seems a bit narrower than a “normal regular width” shoe and unlike her last pair of sneakers, the Velcro part over the top of the foot fits/latches at a correct length! No flopping straps!!! Thank you Asics for making shoes for folks with narrower feet.
Great running shoes, very comfortable. I can't say if they are on a smaller side as i find that i have to buy a size up no matter what brand running shoes i buy.
