Very comfortable and recommended by the mobility experts fitting my aunt for a small foot brace. The shoes are nice looking, lightweight, and comfortable on your feet - with or without the brace.
As others mentioned, it is a very hard-soled shoe. I thought that because I use my own inserts that I could make them work, and did, but it is noticeably harder than my other shoes.
Didn’t fit….too short….even with the note from apex stating the size in the shoe was listed wrong…..Not impressed at all…and I have had 3 pair of apex sneakers in the past that I love…Won’t order them again

Update: As can be seen in the photo, the heels have fallen apart after only a few month's wear. Disappointed.As others have complained, it feels like they used quarter inch plywood for the insole instead of foam. Had to run out and get gel insoles. Otherwise they fit great. The extra wide size has a nice wide sole for good stability. The toebox is roomy and the mesh fabric upper breathable and comfy.
This is the third pair of Apex Breeze I have purchased. They are the best wide shoe I have found to accommodate bunions and orthotics and I have tried many brands. The heel fits snugly enough for stability and the toe box offers plenty of space and flexibility. Plus the shoe looks good and wears well. I will buy this shoe as long as they make them.

These arrive with different laces than shown. The ones shown are included also. Because these are somewhat stretchy, I found the to be just a little snugger than my other Apex sneakers.
