I was hesitant to purchase this shoe but once I tried it on...it fit like a dream! Very comfortable when hiking and walking trails.
I bought this shoes at the end of 2022, and I'm very impressed with the durability of this thing been using it for exercise and gym, and just came out of a 4 day hike at one of the most difficult trails in Colorado the Four pass Loop, Maroon Bells, I saw many fancy and expensive shoes fail over there but this one did a nice job!
Super impressed with these adidas. I have hiked all over and worn tons of different boots/shoes but after getting these when they were dirt cheap I am amazed. Did a brisk 8 mile hike today and they fit perfectly, the higher form fitting upper didn’t bind or constrict my movement, and even with a very lightweight thin material my feet were secure and supported in uneven and challenging terrain. Very lightweight, very comfortable, and with the protective to cap much better than wearing a running shoe for all terrain adventures
These are pretty nice - sporty and comfortable. However the sock liner is so attached to the foot that it's pretty comfortable -once you take them off. Also, there is next to no interior ankle support which is a bit strange considering they are mid/high tops. Comfortable overall and sole is grippy and bouncy. UPDATE: the left shoe bottom support in the middle broke and you can feel the break with every step - lame after a month or 2 of light hiking
I fell in love with the sock like fit of the original Nike Huaraches but they cheapened the follow ups and never went back. Columbia had a good pair that fit the bill but as usual the company can't keep awinner... they just have to introduce new styles and abandon a product that obviously sells out. These Free Hikers 2.0 are excellent and of course are almost sold out now in my size sooooo getem while you can!
Fit great and waterproof!!
