quality shoes very comfortable
My dad has always been a bit of a plain Jane when it came to shoes, so finding him good shoes has always been a bit difficult. All he ever wants is a clean white shoe, not the super colourful and, in his words, "exotic" looking pairs. He's never had a higher quality shoe before this due to this reason (we just couldn't find plainer options before). He'd been complaining about his feet hurting last year (and he has a job where he's standing all the time), so I bought him these for Christmas last year! I love my Adidas, so I knew they'd be comfortable and made to last (unlike his old shoes that start wearing out after 6 months). He loves the simple and sleek look of these and now refuses to wear any of his old sneakers! These are just too comfortable. He wears them everywhere and hasn't complained about his feet since getting them!Since Adidas doesn't really run Wides, I ordered a full size up for him. Half for the extra room and half so he could put his extra insoles in. The fit is pretty good! They also still look brandnew after him wearing them constantly for almost a year. Definitely worth the purchase!
Fits good
I know Adidas and Nike sometimes run a little narrow so I was lucky enough to find a size 11 wide for under $70. Going through the items listed prices were all over the place as was availability for certain sizes. It is a beautiful cross-trainer and for being so light it feels extremely durable and well made.It does add about an inch to your height but is so stable and well cushioned it's a "boost" in more ways than one. I also wear a newer New Balance 517 cross-trainer that I think is a little lighter and, as is normally the case with the brand, fits very well for a slightly wider foot. LOL they're not as good looking as the Adidas so I wear them if the weather is bad.I have some nerve damage in my feet and these certainly make all the difference when doing squats, lunges or any other activity you can think of. I'm not a big "5 star" guy but these are well worth it. I'm 6'1 and 188lbs and train 5-6 days per week so proper footwear is essential.
I give these high ratings for the price. They wear well enough over time and therefore they are a good value. I bought them for outdoor pickleball, and outdoor pickleball is extremely hard on shoes. These held up as well as any other shoes at 1/3 the price. The downside, they are quite bulky, way wider box toe than any of my other shoes. I have a wide foot so this was comfortable for me, but probably not ideal for side-to-side aggressive movement. That said, I didn't really notice them being overly restrictive. If I were to play a tournament, I'd choose one of my other pairs of shoes to be more nimble, but for rec play these are just fine.
I thought the shoes were very cute, however I have had to return them twice because of small issues with the product.First order, the soles of the shoe seemed to have been sewn weird because it pushed into my foot when I tried them on.Second order, I returned because I notice small, white pet hairs inside the shoes. I found this unpleasant and wanted a new pair.Unfortunately I have yet to receive a new pair, nor have I received a refund for my purchases. Both shoes were returned successfully so I don’t know why I haven’t received anything yet. I hope to get a new pair soon!
I play tennis competitively, but not much during 2020 for obvious reasons. Even so, these shoes are really the best (nearly "Dad" shoes) I've ever bought. Comfortable to wear all day long, snug when tightened and supportive for court play. And, I've never had a pair of shoes like these that just don't wear - the back of the shoe is still intact although I sometimes slip them on and crush them with my heel (we all do that don't we?), the front glue is still strong and seamless, the leather has not holes or wear, and the tread is still making full tracks in the dirt. Great shoe. I hope they don't read this review though, because like all great things that surpass the competition, they'll reduce quality, maintain the price, eek out more profit, and I'll not find another pair like this again (see Rockport). I'll buy these again once the dirt doesn't come out in the wash (nearly there).
I was looking for my ultimate shoe and this is it. I like that it's a cross trainer. It's a little chunky but in a good way for lateral stability. It's very comfortable when walking on pavement which is important to me. I like the all black shoe. I would not rule out other colors but I like to stick with a basic shoe. This shoe is also pretty light weight which I love and it what I would expect since Adidas tend to be lighter than the competition. The other HUGE plus is that it has good traction. It's not one of the modern slippery on just about any surface when wet shoes that I have run into so often. If you want comfort and versatility and don't really care about trends this might be the shoe for you.
