The solar Glide 4 are a great sneakers for long distances workouts and marathons. They have a great cushioning during the distance and offer good stability. In my opinion, these are better than the current solar glide 5, because the 4 ones are lighter and fit more comfy than the 5 version. I weigh 65 Kg and they are my favorites for marathons. I definitely recomend them. The blue color is fantastic.
I've tried a number of running shoes and need to replace them often because the mid-sole eventually loses it support and my foot will start hurting. So far, the Adidas shoes with the Boost sole is lasting the longest for me. The sole is made of thermoplastic polyurethane instead of EVA and it seems to be much more durable. I usually can only run on a shoe until it has about 100-150 miles on it if it has an EVA midsole, these are last much longer. Probably 300+ miles and the sole is retaining its shape fairly well. I love the Gore-Tex version of this shoe also.
Love the Adidas Solar Glide shoes. Have had several pairs over the last few years. Each generation has been an improvement over the previous. The Solar Glide 4's very nice. This pair was a bit narrower over my last one that was also a Solar Glide 4, but a different color combo. But I made it work. Length sizing have been very consistent. Great running/walking shoes and good for everyday casual wear as well. Very comfortable and plenty padding for a long run. Highly recommend!
love these shoes they are very comfy
They fit well and are sleek
These shoes are very narrow. I usually get wide option in shoes if available but with these shoes they were not. I bought them a half size bigger to compensate but be a use of how narrow the shoe is designed I am thinking I might need to get a full size up. The length is good but the width is tight and I can see it hurting my feet eventually. These are comfortable on the bottom and from but the sides are extremely tight. I can't give it five stars simply because the shoes may hurt someone who needs wide as a shoe option..
Great for being a coach, as it’s one of the few shoes that doesn’t have a white sole that will inevitably get dirty in the grass. Waterproof this and it will be even better. Also great for Achilles injury, since the back heal is softer and not stiff like typical shoes, but still a really great stability shoe for overpronation.
