I have WIDE feet and often shoes advertise as wide and I try to put them on and dang they are not even close to wide, but these are wide! I was thrilled to put them on and able to wear them for hours right out of the box!
My wife says the 8 2E has more room than most wide shoes in the width and depth, for bunions and hammertoes but the insole is not much. The shoe overall is very light.
I have bought many adias and love them but did not think the quality of these we up to their standards
