Not a super shoe like Next% but still a good shoe for workouts and other types of run. The comparatively low stack height gives a Better feeling of ground contact.
Bought these shoes strictly for race day. They are super light. The upper is essentially see through. There is ZERO excess room in the fit. They are not tight they just fit like another layer of skin so to speak. I have a narrow foot, which is why I am an Adidas guy. So the fit is good for me. These shoes remind me of the flats/running spikes I wore in High School track and Cross Country except that they are made of high tech modern material, are supportive, shock adsorbing and comfortable. I've only done one 10K race in them so I have no opinion on durability. I'm a 175lb heel striker so I'm concerned that they won't hold up for long. Time will tell. They are light, fast and stable. That is for sure. I like them...
ProsVery high quality. Versatile. Good energy return. Not heavy. Upper material is fantastic.ConsQuite narrow. Not a lot of toe height. Best energy return is when heel striking at fast speeds.Overall a great shoe that can do everything. Personally I am a midfoot forefoot striker for which I felt the Carbon plate less than when heel striking when the boost helps with the bounce. (It's still good for forefoot striking)Worth it if you get it with a discount.
I really liked the style AMD wanted them to fit! Usually Adidas fits me great. Not this pair. The tongue is very odd and I tried amd tried....but just didn't work.
I like how they lock my foot down. Have firm, but not too firm cushion in the mid and out soles. Just fast!
Great pair of running shoes. I wish Adidas would not discontinue products so rapidly. I took a bit of getting used to the tongue and materials while putting on the shoe. Once on though, it is a nice, comfortable fit. I was able to put a good 500 miles on the shoes and still feel comfortable. (I had to go to a new pair because the sole was wearing out.)
