I LOVE my rainboots! I own A LOT of shoes and they each complement a specific outfit. However, when I ordered a pair of rain boots, I honestly had no idea what I would wear them with, or if I would even like them enough to wear them. Since receiving them a couple of months back, I have worn them more times than I can count...and it has only rained one day while wearing them. These boots are nice weight (not too heavy/clunky and not too thin/flimsy), very comfortable and roomy, and somewhat stylish. I am going to order another shorter height pair to wear with jeans. I LOVE the fact that I can feel like a kid, walk through the rain & puddles, and most importantly...not worry about ruining my shoes!
These are adorable! I needed something so I can play outside with the kids when it's wet/rainy. I was hesitant to buy online without being able to try on but after reading a few reviews on the fit, I decided to buy. I ordered my shoe size and they're a perfect fit. My calves are a little wide, and I've had trouble int he past finding boots that fit around them, especially when wearing jeans. I was able to slip these right on over my jeans (which were a slim fit down the leg), leaving some room too. They seem roomy enough to also wear them with bootcut jeans, too. I also have a high instep, which has caused problems in boot fitting as well, but this was not an issue with these. The inside of the boot is a soft material, with a slight rise at the heel letting the foot rest very comfortably. The colors are very close to what is shown online, and I love the cheery print. Perfect for puddle splashing!
I was a little hesitant to purchase because EVERY rainboot I try on is too tight in my calves (even when I weighed 120lbs I had this problem, its not me its the boot design) and then so tight in the ankles they won't come off. Not only do these fit perfectly in the foot, they have roomy ankles for easy removal and on the tightest setting fit around my calves. As if that wasn't enough, they are beautiful!!! The detail in the design is exquisite, if you study it you see hidden designs and animals, the colors gorgeous. I'm one happy customer! I highly recommend this rainboot!Bonus- yesterday it snowed several inches and I spent a good bit of time outside playing in these boots with wool socks and my feet stayed warm.
Too bad they don't come in 1/2 sizes, so I had to go up a size. They are a litte big but that was expected. I think they will be perfect for NJ spring showers and they are comfortable. I don't need it, but the shaft is wide for those who are concerned about that. They seem to be sturdy and stylish at the same time. I LOVE the reusable box wth a little handle that they came in! This is a good boot for the price!
I've wanted a pair of these boots for some time. I read the reviews and purchased a size 7. I wear between 6.5 to 7. They fit with enough room for thicker socks if need-be - both at the foot and at the calf. There's a clasp at the top to adjust to the size of your calf (and my legs are NOT skinny). They appear to be well made and sturdy. I live in an area with a lot of snow and slush so these will be perfect. Plus I really like the design. The sole has a good tread for walking in snow.
These water boots are very nicely made. The sole is thick but not heavy and the colors in the boot are fabulous.The fit to size as recommended. There is just a small gap in the lower chin but think that is the way they are made due to rubber.Absolutely recommend these if you want some stylish and comfy water boots.
The Cutest Boots Ever! My size varies between 8 - 81/2. Often, a shoe feels just right on the Left foot but on the right foot my toes will rub just enough to be uncomfortable after a couple of hours on my feet. Therefore, I opted for a size 9, hoping that if boot ran true to size it might be slightly large, but better than going too small. I also have fleece inserts which would provide additional cushioning if necessary, therefore I ordered the size 9. I am very happy with the fit, a bit large, but about what I would expect with ordering up. Time will tell regarding the durability of these boots. I've purchased other similar brands twice- one brand was far more expensive - and it wore out much sooner than the cheaper brand...the most common issue with durability seems to be the back seam and cracking between the sole and upper. The right boot - presumably because it gets much more flexing action if worn regularly to drive - tends to wear out faster...but that did not deter me from purchasing another pair from yet another company despite reports of questionable durability - all brands appear to have similar issues...therefore, I based my purchase 100% on the cutest design that reflected my hippy rainbow colored soul...I was thrilled when I saw them - and love it when I hear a total stranger call out "CUTE BOOTS"! everywhere I go!
Update: didn't even last a year. Bought these at the end of Jan and it's now mid October and they are falling apart, the rubber splitting and cracking. I have worn them maybe a dozen times. Very disappointed because it's so hard to find cute rain boots - I've looked everywhere. Really, really disappointed they are breaking so much, right at the start of a Seattle winter, where after six months of no rain, it's now going to rain every day for four months. Really bummed!I ordered a 6 and I usually wear between a 6 and a 6.5, and they fit perfectly with room to spare for a bulky sock. The colors are very bright! They really pop out at you. The part of the boot where your ankle connects with your foot does have some distortion of the image on the side, but the top of the foot and toe are crisp and the difference is not noticable unless you're looking for it. I was trying to be careful about not getting boots with that distortion... It seems very common in rain boots and I think it's very ugly. However, I'm still happy because the image is gorgeous and the boots are sure to get many compliments. I can't wait to wear them!Edit: I removed two stars because I noticed today the trim is glued on very poorly. It is very noticable when I cross my legs. I wonder if I can remove and reglue it. Both boots have this issue. There appears to be no way to upload product photos from android or I would post a picture.
