When it comes to winter footwear, the Sperry Mens Ice Bay Boot shines in various aspects. First, let’s talk about warmth. The 200G Thinsulate insulation ensures that your feet stay cozy even in frigid temperatures, making these boots ideal for both urban environments and rugged outdoor conditions.
In terms of construction, the fully waterproof feature allows you to trudge through deep snow and slushy puddles without worrying about wet socks. The waterproof rubber shell not only guards against moisture but also provides added durability, an essential trait for winter boots.
A noteworthy aspect of the Ice Bay Boot is its ceramic lug outsole. This feature provides excellent traction on icy and slippery surfaces, giving you confidence as you navigate through winter terrains. Whether you're heading out for a hike or just running errands, this boot promises stability and grip.
However, it’s worth noting that some users have found the fit to be slightly larger than expected. If you’re considering a purchase, you might want to try them on with thicker socks or opt for a size smaller to achieve a snug fit. Additionally, although they are quite comfortable, a brief break-in period is often recommended for ultimate comfort.
Overall, the Sperry Mens Ice Bay Boot stands out as a formidable contender in the winter footwear market. Its blend of style, warmth, and functionality makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to brave the elements this season.

After looking at a ton of snow boots, I went with these. They seem to be well constructed, although I doubt I will be putting much stress on them or working in them.I compared them with another type of boot on amazon which cost about half as much. They were fine, but these were noticeably more comfortable.I normally wear a 11.5 or 12 in boots and shoes. I went with 11.5 and they fit well, even with thicker socks.
Love the Quality
Love the look and comfort and leather top. They run half size bigger as others had pointed out. I ordered size 11 and I usually wear size 11.5 - 12 in vans. I am glad I read reviews and took the gamble ordering the smaller size and they fit perfectly and look great. The cons! they are narrow at the neck, at first I had hard time put them on pass the neck part, you kinda need to force them worrying you will tear the insulation off, but I am sure will break down after a while. The bottom is wide and loose. Hope this review helps!
I’ve got a lot of use out of these in the past few months. I live in Tahoe and I’ve been wearing them any time snow is falling, which has been not stop this year. The boots are warm and water-proof.I went with my normal shoe size and they fit great with a medium or heavy wool sock. I like the sole on this pair. My last sperry’s were a bit stiff, and these have a nice flexing sole.My only gripe is the abundance of laces. I feel like they could have deleted a few eye-holes and; 1. Made the laces shorter, and 2. Made the boots quicker to get in and out of. Others than that I love ‘em.
These look great and fit well. They're very thick all the way around, which (hopefully) might break in a little with time, so they're stiff but incredibly warm. If you're looking for something casual and not real bulky these probably won't be for you. They're pretty sturdy and bulky... but for their fit, durability, and functionality in the Midwest snow, they're great.
Very comfortable boot. I find myself slipping these things on whenever I need to run somewhere or just into the garage. They run big as the other reviews have mentioned. Not the warmest boot I’ve ever had, not even close actually, but they do the job for running around town during snowstorms or shoveling the driveway. I have my doubt about their durability but we’ll see. Had them since November and nothing has broke down yet.
Ladies. I bought this boot because the only duck boots they make for us are pleather, unlined and not waterproof. Add in that they have no real tread. These are warm, sturdy, have thick tread and are suede. I'm in love. I bought three sizes down from my size in women's and these fit like a pillowy warm dream. Cannot wait to wear them in the winter, I'll be in my second trimester this winter and I cannot afford to slip and fall or freeze in my old duck boots. Awesome purchase.
I’m very happy and highly recommend these boots
