I thought this would’ve been a great shoe. I was wrong because it still fit pretty big. The shoe laces weren’t even like normal laces so it just made it harder to tie. The size of the shoe, my feet kept moving and rubbing. I rather a boot that was tight and snug. It was fairly comfortable as sperry should be. Unfortunately this boot isn’t as what I thought it would be.
These boots were excellent in every way (style, fit, comfort) and in one day I received multiple compliments on them. I ordered these for an upcoming rainy week and they arrived on time. I was excited to use them but within a couple of hours I found my toes were cold and wet. I really expected water to seep in from the seem/joint between the rubber bottom and fabric upper. Surprisingly this DID NOT happen. My ankles, heels and upper feet were dry and warm. But for some strange reason my socks on both feet were wet in just the toe area. Once I got home I dried the inside of each boot with paper towels and by using a hair dryer. The next day I tried them again with a different pair of socks. Once again, within 1-2 hours, my toes were wet. I couldn't figure out where the fault was and reluctantly returned the boots. I purchased a regular pair of rubber rain boots and will continue to look for a better pair of Duck boots.
