These were just what I expected. Good quality.
These boots are great for home gardening - dirt, mud, and even the dog pop -they handle it all, leaving the person wearing the boots clean and tidy from mid-calf down to the toes. One comment: My husband wears a size 10 in regular shoes but needed an 11 in these boots that require heavier socks.
got these boots to replace my xtratuffs which I had for two solid years and did very well. in the comfort zone they have sort of a cleat feel to them, which I guess would be all right if you were actually walking through thick mud. I work in a cold Warehouse 36° with water on the floor and these are insulated relatively warm. anything below 36 after a couple hours it really doesn't matter your feet are going to get cold. go half a size up and pair these with some inserts. the grip is good on cold wet concrete however step into the office with water still on the boots and you're going for a ride. just didn't happen with the xtratuffs. no leak yet 2 months in.
I am hoping that these will be just like the Hoser style as Muck Boots does not seem to make them anymore. I also think they do not make the Edgewater anymore, either. I have worn this type of boot for 25 years and they have been great. The first pair I bought lasted 10 years, after that, they last about 5 years, being worn daily in the muck. I am hoping the same for these boot.
I use these boots while taking care of my three horses and assorted barn cats and our dogs. From blazing summers to cold winters- I need them to last. They held up great for over a year (bought in July 2023)- but now both toe areas have split open and the boot heels are almost worn though. I am buying a new pair tonight- because I believe in the quality and usefulness of these boots. The fact they lasted a year is good with me- these aren’t Starbucks boots.
I have had muck boots for 10 yrs these are the most comfortable boots I have ever had. They fit my ankle and foot snug not like the others I have had. Easy on easy off. Priced right also.
I use them for everything from feeding cows to mucking corrals to wearing daily on the ranch. They last for about 1 season due to daily wear, but they work good. I have tried other brands and MUCK is far better for the money.
Comfortable, fits as expected. We did order up in size as they do run small. Would purchase again.
