The fit is perfect.
First on fit, some reviewers say Bogs hunting boots is a wider mold. I take an 11 wide, but the Bogs 12 was just too tight to be able to take off without a real struggle, so I went up to a size 13, which works great. The foot portion of the boot has a degree of molding to it so your foot is held in there securely. The boot itself is excellent, solid, great tread, so far has kept my feet nice and warm in cold weather hunting.Even with that size 13, I used a bit thinner hiking sock and saw no loss of warmth.Biggest surprise for me was even though this is a very solid boot and sole, the boots were noticeably QUIETER on the ground walking to my spot. Also the look. The picture doesn't make this style appear as attractive as the more distinct camo looks, but the opposite is true. The camo effect is perfect and I think they're more attractive for regular use.
They were nice just fit too loose
Boots are decent if you intend on using them for anything other than hunting. I bought these boots for deer hunting and noticed they had a strong smell right out of the gate. I have tried everything to remove the smell but can’t seem to do so which makes the boots useless. I have done everything from washing them repeatedly soaking them in scent killing solution in the tub to even leaving them out in the truck through the winter and after that didn’t work I left them outside for over a month in rain and snow exposed to the elements and they still have just as strong of a scent
These look like well-made boots, but I ordered in my size and could not even get them on my feet. The calf section was fine but even with thin socks I could not get much past the ankle part due to narrowness of the boot. And I won't compromise fit by ordering a larger size for width and end up with a boot in which my foot swims front to back due to excessive length.
As another review stated the size runs 2 size’s small I ordered a size 10 that’s my boot size but had to send them back exchanged them for a size 12 and they fit perfect. Other than that I love the boots comfortable, love the new mossy oak bottomland camo and they’re rated for pretty low temperature.
This was a great price on these boots!
I love BOGS!!! Comfortable, durable, waterproof and warm. I tried another name brand but immediately sold them and went back to BOGS. I have a wide foot 3e. Tried a brand that was supposed to be wide but they hurt my feet so I went back to BOGS and ordered 1 size larger than I usually wear and they feel great. These boots work great for wet and muddy conditions. I wear them to work in the garden and for hunting until it gets extremely cold. With my pants tucked in the boots they help keep the ticks off me apparently they don't like the rubber.
