When it comes to hiking and construction, the Wolverine Women's Wilderness Waterproof Composite Toe Construction Boot stands out for several reasons. This boot's waterproof feature is exceptional, employing high-quality full-grain leather that effectively repels water while remaining breathable, which is crucial for both comfort and foot health.
The composite toe adds an essential layer of safety, particularly for those who might find themselves in environments with falling objects or heavy equipment. Unlike steel toes, composite materials are lighter, making them a preferable choice for prolonged use without the added weight.
Furthermore, the rubber sole provides excellent traction on various surfaces, enhancing stability whether you're trekking through wet grass or rocky terrain. Its block heel design also contributes to secure footing, allowing you to navigate challenging landscapes confidently.
However, like many quality boots, users might need to break them in to achieve optimal comfort level, especially if you plan on wearing them for extended periods. Additionally, the selection of colors is somewhat limited, which might not cater to everyone’s personal style preferences.
Overall, the Wolverine Women's Wilderness Boot is a fantastic option for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a blend of durability, safety, and style in their footwear.

It'll hurt the first week of usage. I've been using them not tied tight to work a 12 hr shift. They are made very well. Not heavy and don't slip in the rain.
I ordered the size 71/2 wide but it’s too small, I usually wear size 7, bit disappointed.
I like the boots but I bought them a half size too small. They've been worn outside so I can't return them.
Seems to fit well. Price was very good.
bought these a few days ago in a 10w.. i usually wear a 10 easily but i wanted to make sure i had a little wiggle room for my toes.. got them and my toes feel so squished.. okay fine.. was gonna return them and get the next size up and just in those couple days they jumped up $20? lol and it says they are supposed to be "-11%" lol
I got them in an 8 wide. They hurt my feet even with insoles.
There is no description to know for sure if these are composite toe or not, which is a requirement where I work. On the wolverine website it says they aren't unless you look up the mens version. I really liked the tread and looks of this boot so I took the chance. They definitely have composite toes and a smaller toe box, recommend the wides. I bought the Durashock insoles for men and cut them down to fit and stuffed them and the boot insoles inside so they are kinda tight. (all the men I work with rave about the durashock insoles for heel pain, I disagree) They still aren't as kushy as the Durashock sneakers but I needed something for winter, and the sneakers aren't waterproof. I recommend getting the Dr. Scholls half inserts and put boot inserts on top if working on concrete floors all day. They are fine for walking around but not so great for standing still for awhile. They need some breaking in but I think they will be a comfortable, durable boot in the long run.
