I bought these boots in 2019 and have walked approximately 5 miles every work day in them since then. These boots are comfortable and durable. The soles are worn nearly smooth, but they have not detached nor has the leather cracked or split. Take care of them and they will last.
Fit perfect and very comfortable right out of the box.
I have narrow feet. these are great for me. I deliver to kitchens, that have some greasy floors. these are more slip resistant than red wing, carolina and several other brands. they look cheap. they feel cheap. they last forever, and never slip. I'm impressed.
I have been wearing these boots for over 30 years. This is the first time I have worn a black pair. It seems they are a little bit stiff. Maybe it's the process of dying the leather? Anyhow, I think after I soften them a little with some boot oil they will be just as nice as my brown ones!
I am diabetic, and have literally spent hundreds of dollars on shoes, from Timberland Pro (uncomfortable, $125.00), to Dr. Scholl's ($ 39.00 sucks) to Ariat ($100.00, years ago they used to be great boots, not now).I bought this pair of Wolverine SR's because my one of my other two pairs, over 5 years old, needed replacing. I finally saw them in stock, and grabbed one pair of black 6" boot. They are sooo comfortable. Firm foot support throughout, especially with laces tightened at the ankle. A great walking shoe. I think I'll donate my other shoes, hardly ever worn, that s how bad they treated my feet. Mind you, I only endorse certain wolverine boots, others I bought I've had to return. But these are ********** ten star.Fred
Perfect comfort and support, right out of the box!! I highly recommend them!!
My grandpa and uncle have worn these boots as general contractors since as long as I can remember. And they have always said things like, "it's like wearing a slipper on the job site" and "these are the best boots we've ever owned." And all the years I worked with them I never wanted to spend the money and would just get $50 response gear boots from big 5 and similar boots. But after my last pair wore out. I decided to just get these, and they are amazing. Very comfortable and look great. I work at a coffee shop now while in college and needed a boot that would be plenty slip resistant for when I have to mop floors and also wanted a leather boot that would clean up good for when I spill milk, chocolate, and other things of that nature on them. And they are holding up great, if you're not sure on sizing what I did was went to jcpennys and tried them on and then bought them online, because they are a lot cheaper on amazon.
I have been wearing these shoes for a few years and I really like them. I walk on concrete all day long and they usually last about one year. After one year the uppers are not worn out but the sole feels wore out.
