This is my second pair of wolverine Safety boots. I bought these to replace a pair of Wolverine 6" corsair safety boots. I ordered the same size and they fit great. They are comfortable right out of the box but just a little stiff. I needed a few days to break them in and they are now feeling like an old comfortable pair of shoes. The last pair lasted 4 years of me wearing them 300 plus days a year for 8 - 10 hrs a day. These look to be built of the same quality that the last pair was. I especially like the composite safety toe it's lighter and for someone who has to wear safety shoes for their job it makes a huge difference by the end of the day.
Perfect work boots. A little on the heavy side, but well worth it. Coming from wearing T1mberland Pro's for years, these feel lighter and last longer. This is my second pair, the first pair has been used almost daily in field working environment for about a year and it is still holding up very well. The only reason to replace them it is because I started to sense a bit of foot odor, but the physical integrity of the materials is well within normal wear, in very good condition. They are comfortable enough to kneel down for long stretches without hurting your feet or crushing your toes, they're waterproof up to about 4 inches (tested). Practically zero-days break-in period. They are visible at night and do not slip. Highly recommended.
These boots are awesome. They fit as expected and they are very well made. I'm a truck driver and unlike some boots I've worn, they don't slip off the pedals when I'm driving. They tie up nice and don't need to be double knotted like some of the other boats I've owned. The weight is about normal for these kinds of boots with composite toes but are still comfortable to wear all day without feeling overly heavy. The only negatives I can say is that the insoles are a little thin and breathability is pretty poor but that's to be expected for a complete leather work boot.
Fits great and are very lightweight and comfortable, they also seem pretty durable looking and well built like my 7 year old Wolverines they replaced. But as others have stated, they are almost too well sealed and my feet are sweaty in these by lunch time, even if I'm just walking around and not climbing ladders or anything.
Usually I have to order my boots a size or half size larger to account for the composite toe. These boots are so magnificently crafted that they fit like they should and I ended up a half size too big. I bought some shoe insoles which solved the problem. They aren't as lite as I had hoped however that takes away none of the comfort of the boots. I am highly pleased and will never order another type of boot again. They're a bit pricey but worth the cost. I have tried keen, rocky, red wing, Georgia, Carolina boots, red back, and shoes for crews brand none compare.
Got these bad boys to replace my Gore-Tex Merrells that usually worked out fine, but at my new job got destroyed within 6 months from brand new. I'm a landscape supervisor in the summer, and in the winter we do demo work and basically any other disgusting and difficult jobs that need doing. These fit great, and are very comfortable right out of the box, even for my 9 to 10 hour shifts. They feel super tough and are very light. If they hold up for at least a year I'll stick with these form now on. I'll let you know!
I really wanted to like this boot. I've had them for two years now and I am going to finally throw them away - not because they are worn out, because I am tired of their drawbacks.I would surmise that they were designed by someone that does not use boots like this to work. They look really cool, feel comfortable and I like the steel toe BUT they have numerous shortcomings:(1) The tread pattern is impossible to get clean - so plan on taking off the shoes every time you come in the house, unless you enjoy getting yelled at by your wife or you live in a barn.(2) removing the shoes is a pain because the "quick hook clasps" (not sure what you call them) grab a hold of the shoelaces and it's annoying to get them out.(3) The shoelaces are extremely durable BUT whatever material they used makes it impossible to get a tight knot - kinda like 50 pound test fishing line. They typically come untied or twice a day on me despite double knoting them and pulling very tightly every time.(4) my feet get soaked every time I'm working in the snow.Overall, huge disappointment. Spend your money on a different work boot!
Just got these a week ago so not sure about the durability yet but they seem nice so far.UpdateHave had these almost 10 months now and wearing them every other day I like to rotate 2 pairs at a time. These do not hold up to well in my opinion. The side on the one boot has started to split apart. I'm on laces set number 2 (not a big deal). But they were comfortable while they last but for the price to get only really 5 months of use I expected more
