If you're looking for boots that can handle long hours on your feet while providing exceptional support, the Wolverine Men's Loader 8" Wedge Boot is an excellent choice. The time-tested Goodyear welt construction ensures that these boots will mold to the shape of your feet over time, offering a personalized fit that only gets better with wear.
The genuine full-grain leather upper not only contributes to the durability of the boot but also adds a touch of classic style, making them suitable for both work and casual outings. The unlined design helps keep your feet cool even during the hottest days, while the padded collar provides added comfort, preventing any chafing or discomfort around your ankles.
For those concerned about fatigue during long shifts, the removable full-cushioned footbed makes a significant difference, allowing you to swap it out for custom orthotics if necessary. The PU wedge outsole is designed to offer ample support while effectively shedding dirt and debris, making these boots easy to maintain.
While they excel in many areas, it's important to note that some users have found the initial fit to be slightly snug, which may require a short break-in period. Additionally, the unlined nature of the boot could be a drawback in extremely cold temperatures.

I got these boots for my dad, due to an accident on his right foot the top half is no longer attached to him lol. In all seriousness, he has a hard time finding work shoes that are comfortable and support him well. These are great because they're very structured and provide a lot of ankle support. He's an electrician which demands him to be on his feet for long periods of time and with these boots it doesn't bother him as much as it used to. The boots also look very nice compared to traditional work boots.
This is my second pair, first was 6in I wore almost everyday. They were always a little too big since I bought wide. I went with the 8in which I like more and are just as easy to put on. Good thick leather and hold up to farmer’s market work, light construction, walking on a roof, dump runs and etc. Only complaint being the stupid slits on the toe welt which are decorative and do nothing but introduce a possible failure point. However it wasn’t an issue on my previous pair of these. The laces are okay and long but aren’t amazing quality. They hold up fine though so no big deal. The tongue could be a little nicer and is also comically puffy so it feels like I’m always having to stuff it in as I lace up. Might see if a cobbler can just remove all the padding. And they are sized like how boots are, always too big for whatever reason. I’m a true 9 and got an 8.5 medium. A touch narrow but they will break in just fine. Comfy out of the box.
I was really skeptical about buying these boots. Even after reading all the reviews, but I am so pleased with these boots! I have owned 250 dollar work boots but never have I owned a pair of boots this soft and comfortable. I bought these for my everyday wear and I am definitely going to buy another pair just to have for the future so I highly recommend these boots to anyone wanting a pair of comfortable boots right out of the box. And the price is unbeatable!!!!!
Real comfortable, only had for 1 month, so far so good
The leather is thick but plyable, the souls are thick and comfortable. All this to say that they are super comfortable.Problem? Ok maybe one but this is true of all lace up boots. The ankle area sometimes gets pushed down after walking a while and begin rubbing on your arcilles tendon, making them rub in that spot.we call this breaking them in. They always look good and the waxy/oily surface allows for easy cleanup, scratches disappear and are very durable. I wear mine to work and abuse them but I like them to look good as well.I am very happy with my third set of them and probably will be happy with the next ones too.Wolverine makes a great boot.
What i did like most was the price. And once i got them and put them on they where more comfortable every time i wore them. Well made and i plan on buying another pair. My only complaint is they don't come in black 8 inch Wedge
We now have 2 pairs of these because my husband can’t get enough! He insists they’re very comfortable and add a little additional height which helps around the job sites sometimes. He had major ankle surgery on both ankles so a good boot is a requirement, these fit the bill. I had to get him a pair just for around the house because he loved them too much!
The boot was comfortable until about 2 hours into working the first day putting them on. I felt some discomfort on the rear of my right foot between my heel and ankle. I figured I just needed to break them in. After my 2nd 8 hour shift day I finally noticed that my foot was red and beginning to blister. I looked in the boot and found the that the boots were sewed differently inside. in the photos the inner lining with the white stitching in the back above the heel isn't rounded or smooth leaving a rough edge that rubs on the back of my foot. the other boot with the dark stitches has a perfect rounded edge that transitions smoothly to the upper part of the boot. Highly disappointed after paying $100 for these.
