Built with an unlined upper and fatigue-fighting reinforcement, these boots are designed to keep your feet at ease throughout long, demanding days. The Wolverine Men's Loader 8" Steel-Toe Wedge Boot impresses with its unparalleled comfort and impressive craftsmanship. Starting with the overall build quality, the genuine full-grain leather upper not only provides longevity but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the boot. This makes it versatile enough for both work and casual settings.
Comfort is a significant consideration when selecting work boots, and the Wolverine Loader excels in this aspect. The unlined interior allows for excellent airflow, ensuring your feet remain cool even during the hottest of days. Additionally, the removable full-cushioned footbed adds another layer of comfort, accommodating those who spend extended hours on their feet.
Another noteworthy feature is the Goodyear welt construction, which ensures a durable bond between the upper and outsole while providing a customizable fit over time. However, it's important to mention that the steel toe can feel somewhat heavy, especially for those who are used to wearing lighter shoes. Therefore, some users might experience a slight adjustment period as they break them in.
In terms of performance, the PU wedge outsole stands out as it not only enhances comfort but also effectively sheds dirt and debris, making maintenance a breeze. Overall, if you're looking for a boot that combines functionality with style, the Wolverine Men's Loader is an excellent investment.

I have had them for 2 months leather seems to be a tad softer. These boots required no break in for me. I put 2 coats of Hubbard boots grease on them, I’m on my feet walking all day climbing stairs going to meetings in different buildings every day, I bought my old broken in Thorogoods, the first day I wore them just in case I had to swap them out. Didn’t need them, and I’ve been wearing them every day since will buy again, same quality boot with a taller sole than Thorogoods for halve the price. Most importantly they are made in America, definitely a quality made boot.
Good price and quality
I bought these for my husband and they have been very comfortable for him. He wears them on a daily basis.
The boot quality itself is good. The souls that come in them are basically garbage. Honestly they would have been better off cutting the souls for cardboard. I had to buy souls. The comfort of the boot with the new souls is great. Best boot I have warn with the new souls.
Thick soles make you taller. Also good fot and look.
I was under the impression that is was for sure going to be better cause it was going to ne wider than the standard wide. But it felt as if I was sent just normal wide. But its pointless to have a boot that is wide, but the actual protective toe is jist standard as if a normal width boot. My toes were fighting for space. Over time the edges of the protective toe wore at the sides of my feet to where it became extremely uncomfortable. Not aure if there was a flaw in the ones I recieved, but definitly was not as wide as I had hoped I ordered, as well as the protecrive toe still was not wide enough. The boots eventually started to lose integrity, theres even now a hole in the sode of one boot putting me in a position of tossing my boots. Not going to lie, im not happy with having to pay this kond of money and getting a pair of boots that cant even last a year.
I've been getting slip ons for a few years now and wanted to get some laced boots again. I never had tried Wolverines before. These boots look really nice and are comfortable. I prefer composite toe but couldn't find it with this boot, either way these will do. I also was looking for the shorter style but again, they didn't have one with safety toe. These fit the budget and the leather feels superb, it's not stiff at all, and the boots fit true to the size I got them in. I'll see how they withstand some rigorous work and time. Pretty happy with them so far, very stylish!
Didn’t last 2 months before the toe was bare metal and 6 months and I had to throw them away, they were completely unbearable to wear for the first 4 months I had to double up socks and I still had blisters like crazy I wouldn’t recommend them I’d show a picture but I threw them away as soon as I got a better pair
