The Wolverine Men's Bolt DuraShocks Construction Shoe shines particularly in comfort. The unique combination of DuraShocks® comfort technology mixed with DuraSpring™ cushioning means you get to experience unparalleled support as you walk through your day. Many users have reported a positive transformation in their foot health thanks to the dual suspension pads that reduce impact while providing stability.
In terms of breathability, the mesh upper allows for air circulation, keeping your feet dry and cool even during lengthy tasks. This feature is especially beneficial for those working in warm environments or who tend to sweat excessively during prolonged periods of activity.
On the defensive front, the CarbonMax composite toe adds an extra layer of protection against workplace hazards, all while ensuring the shoe stays lightweight. This means you won’t feel fatigued from wearing heavy boots for prolonged hours.
However, it’s worth noting that some users have experienced discrepancies in sizing—particularly that they run larger than expected, which may require trying out half a size smaller. Additionally, these shoes are not designed for extreme weather conditions, meaning if you're working in wet environments, you might need to look for alternatives with waterproof features.

Very comfortable and supportive
Comfortable yes but the inner soles are indeed too soft, lack arch support. If you are a heavy person, whether overweight of just big, these shoes are comfortable but not for a long lengths of time. If you want to develop plantar fasciitis or if you are suffering from or are tetering on developing plantar fasciitis, THESE ARE NOT the shoes for you. Podiatrist once told me the worst shoes a person who has feet issues can wear are Crocs. These feel very similar. Not for a heavy person. Go ahead and spend the extra $100 to $150 (on top of the cost of these shoes) for proper support. Your feet are your life! Won't be buying these again. Just waiting for next payday.
Great price, and shoes hold together well. Not too heavy, super comfy insole, and very thick midsole. Non slip grip is great and the materials are very good quality.
They claim to be extra wide, but the toe box narrows significantly. My toes were smashed together. The shoe width at the ball of my foot was not wide enough either leaving me to wonder if these were normal width in an extra wide box. My other pair from another brand are wider than these and they are just wide, not "extra wide". Thanks to Amazon's return policy, I dropped them off at the return center and received my refund within a few hours.
Shoes are very nice. My wolverine carbonmax boots were wearing out after a year of hard use 10hrs a day on concrete floors. Wanted shoes for the summer. I ordered 1/2 size up due to other reviews and glad I did. Shoes fit perfect, didn't take much break in time, they were comfy from day one. Will definitely buy again if they are still available when these wear out.
I've had these for about 4 and half months. This morning the tops ripped on both sides.Still holding together from the inside lair.I have wolverine boots I've been wearing for a little over a year and they are still holding up great. But the long socks I have to wear with boots are making my legs break out in a rash. So I got these low cut boots to wear with ankle socks. They are very comfortable boots but not very durable for the work I'm doing as a truck driver working in limestone mines.I would recommend them for someone in a wear house that requires steel toe boots.
So I walk about 8 miles a day. So after 3 weeks So far they are comfortable, didn't take long to "break-in" they seem they should hold up nicely. Tread seems little slippery on concrete with oil not as good as there Dart shoes. But overall very good 👍Update Still amazing feel. No issues to report 3 months no shifting still nice New feel to them with Durashock insoles and Duraspring Soles feels great even walking and standing.
Way more comfortable, that I thought. Work a 10hr shift like a breeze ( this are my go to from now on )
