The Van Heusen Men's Vander Oxford delivers on its promise of comfort and style. The first thing you'll notice is the quality of the materials; the engineered leather not only looks good but also ensures that the shoes are easy to maintain. A simple wipe is often enough to keep them looking fresh.
The cushioned footbed is a game-changer for anyone who spends long hours standing or walking. You’ll appreciate the lightweight construction that doesn’t feel cumbersome, allowing for ease of movement. For professionals who need to balance aesthetics with practicality, these shoes are an excellent choice.
However, like many well-crafted shoes, there may be a short break-in period. Some wearers have reported initial stiffness, which typically resolves after a few wears. Additionally, while the black option is timeless, some consumers might wish for a broader color selection to match different outfits.

These shoes are really classic. Better than expected. Will try another design soon. Good grip.
These are really nice looking boots, and are quite well constructed.I've worn them several times, and there are no visible creases in the faux-leather material. They have a very high-density memory foam insert. I find it quite comfortable when I put them on, but after a lot of walking or standing, there's a fair bit of foot fatigue. That said, these are get for a desk job or out with some friends. They certainly look nice. From my experience Van Heusen makes an upper mid-range quality shoe at a decent price, and they generally hold up well. And for the price, I recommend them, as long as you don't have to do a lot of standing. Not a fan of the wax covered laces. Seem kind of cheap to me, and eventually break. Might have to replace those.
These boots are lightweight and very comfortable, perfect for long days on your feet. The flexible outsole is a nice touch and makes walking a breeze. The engineered leather has the look and feel of polished leather and is of high quality. I have received many compliments on these boots for their stylish and timeless design of these boots. They pair well with pants or jeans, making them a versatile addition to any wardrobe. Overall, I have no complaints about these shoes and am very pleased as the enhanced comfort.

I wasn't sure at first if these shoes would fit. They're a bit narrower that shoes I usually wear.i ordered the size I normally buy, and yes... the sizing is exactly right - for me anyway.I'm used to wearing shoes that are built for comfort and practicality rather than fashion but I like the look and the color. My good lady likes them even more. The 'leather' feels soft and pliable with no hard edges to dig into your ankles, and to walk in they feel sturdy yet surprisingly comfortable. So what is engineered leather anyway?A quick google tells me it could be a man-made fabric of up to 50% animal leather fibers mixed with man-made fibers for support. It could also be completely animal leather free. So who knows. It looks, feels and performs like real leather but is supposed to last longer.I like these shoes, they look and feel good to wear - but over time we shall see how durable they really are.
When I saw the shape (pointed toe) in real life after unboxing, I thought for sure these would squeeze my feet, but no - these fit very well. I ordered the size I usually get and it was just right. The leather is soft, and not really shiny, so it is dressy but not overly so. They do need to be a bit loose to get up over the heel, but the loop on the back of the shoe is a great assist. I'm giving it five stars because most dress shoes are very uncomfortable for me - there's a good amount of padding (not as much as a cross trainer or comfort shoe, but good for a dress shoe). The leather is soft and pliable. We shall see how they wear and I'll update this review if any issues.
I found these shoes to be slightly more narrow than most others. They still fit, but I would suggest going up a size if you usually get a wider shoe. They are comfortable for office work perhaps, but I found if you have to walk a lot or stand all day, these shoes are not very comfortable after a few hours.
