I ordered these for my dad to replace his worn out dress church shoes. I was nervous about the overall quality, but when they arrived, I was impressed with the quality and look of these shoes. Very stylish, well made and comfortable
Let’s talk about these shoes. I ordered them on a lark, given how inexpensive they are, and my expectations were not high. They are faux leather, but DO pass for leather in appearance. I compared them to a similar pair of Kenneth Cole shoes (pictured in some photos). I have wide feet and usually buy ½ to 1 size larger to accommodate my width. This product is a size 11 and my pictured Cole’s are size 10.5. This product seems slightly smaller, but they still fit me—even across the toes, where I sometimes have trouble. (To be clear, they are size 11. I usually buy size 11 and these fit me.). This product is noticeably lighter, which did not surprise me. This product has very squishy heel insoles. If this squishy padding were really dense enough to be in a sole then it would be far too thick. However, it is essentially irrelevant as the weight of my body immediately compresses it flat. Overall, the sole feels fairly hard under my foot (even the heel), although not uncomfortable. The shoes are a bit stiff and inflexible. It helps to have a shoe horn to get them on. Initially the tongue portion of the foot felt hard and tight across the top of my foot, but within a few hours this stretched out.“Comfortable” would be an overstatement for these shoes. They are slightly stiff and don’t snugly hold my foot. But they are FAR from UNcomfortable. I wouldn’t want to wear them in a job where I was on my feet all day. I think the hard sole would start to make my feet sore. But in my up-and-down job they were perfectly fine over 2 days of work. They also look fine after 2 days. I half expected them to get a creased, plastic-y look. But they look just fine. I was pleasantly amused to be complimented on them at work (and stifled the urged to blurt out that they cost $25).Who should buy these? Anyone needing an extra pair of shoes for intermittent use, who doesn’t work on their feet all day. Someone going to a wedding or fancy occasions who needs a pair of shiny shoes to match their suit. I would say buy your normal size, or maybe a half-size up.Comparing these on an absolute scale to a quality dress shoe I would give them 2 or maybe 3 stars because of the stiffness, the faux leather, minimal padding and materials used. But on a RELATIVE scale, accounting for cost, these are a solid 4 stars, approaching 5.
My son loved the shoes. Wore them to a dance and it completely went with his suit. Perfect fit for him.
The shoe really comfortable it's a medium size 12 feel real good it likes walking on cloud nien.
I’ve been a vegetarian for more than 50 years, and it’s always troubled me that I could not find synthetic shoes that were both attractive and comfortable. In the early 1970s, there simply wasn’t a decent alternative to wearing leather shoes. The plastic shoes of the early 1970s looked like plastic and squeaked when you walked. However, now in 2023, the technology is far superior to that of the 1970s, and manufacturers have begun making artificial leather that is very realistic, comfortable, and squeak free. I’ve finally found a viable alternative to using animal skins for footwear!I ordered these shoes not knowing what to expect, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shoes that came out of the box. These are very attractive shoes that are textured to look like real leather. If I didn’t know better, I would have a hard time telling that they are made from faux leather, at least from a few feet away. The stitching is regular and even. The soles are rubber, but not unattractive, and they provide decent traction. (Actually, much better traction than the leather soles of my expensive pair of Italian shoes which once failed me going downstairs.) Because of their materials, these shoes are very lightweight. Thanks to a generous layer of sculpted memory foam, the shoes are very comfortable, and I was pleased to find decent arch support. The shoes are true to size, but there’s enough extra room in my size 9 shoes that my toes don’t rub against the front of the shoes. How these shoes will do long term remains to be seen. What will they look like when they are scuffed? How comfortable will they be when it’s 98° outside? How long will they last? Only time will tell. However, for $25, they are well worth the money even if they only last a year or two.
These shoes are lace less and very easy to slip on and slip off. They are true to size in terms of fitting. They also have memory foam inner soles which makes them very comfortable to wear. The only downside for me was that I wear wide sized shoes so these are a bit tight at the front for me. They’re still Ok to wear for an outing or work though.
I am incredibly picky about the shoes I wear. the style the fit, everything. so I knew I was taking a pretty big gamble ordering these shoes online but I really have wanted to change things up a little bit. talk about a great decisionthink it is worth noting, I currently have a stress fracture in my foot (that I am not wearing a boot for). these shoes have done wonders for alleviating the pain from standing/walking thanks to the memory gel insoles. I usually mark things like that up to a gimmick but it really makes a difference when things aren’t working rightthese are also a lot of fun because since they are a lower profile look, they allow me to show off all the fun sucks that I have. overall I would happily buy these again (I might actually do it soon just to have backups)
This fits perfectly! The quality of the leather is really nice as well. Sturdy and durable.
