Just got them today. I ordered a wide. They might be the most comfortable boot I ever first tried on.pros- comfortable, big toe box, wide means wide, COMFORTABLE, warm, soft, look good, seem really well made.Cons - realistically the only thing I will say is they are a bit bulky. They are KINDVE Frankensteinish. But, with that being said, they are water proof, thinsulated, soft where you want it to be and hard where it should be(more pros.) I need them for my newly acquired 5 acres just south of wintery Buffalo. I'll deal with the minor cosmetics for functionality...we are men afterall arent we? I have other boots for when its time to represent, these are straight up the best work boots I could've asked for. Im coming from old Wolverines that I thought were the best ever. The new Wolverines have a lace buckle right on the ankle that was painful-right out of the box. These Timberland Pros are like heaven.
The boots are bulky and somewhat heavy, I'm a size 13, but my feet look like a size 16 in these things. Despite this the boots are surprisingly comfortable and most importantly they are WARM!!! I work outside in Chicago and I purchased the boots specifically for our winters. The first day I wore them was the coldest day here in over 20 years (-23F -51 wind chill) and I was ankle deep in snow and my feet felt great. Not cold not hot just comfortable and dry (I wasn't wearing winter socks either). The bulkiness is a small price to pay for warm comfortable feet while working all day in subzero temps. The only thing I'm not sure about yet is there durability since I've only had them for 5 days as of this review, but if I can get 3 winters wearing them on the coldest and snowiest days I'll feel that I've gotten my moneys worth.
Work in frozen food warehouse they are great for the cold
Use for work fit great real comfortable will see how they hold up
I bought these boots due to their high ratings and a YouTube video, that speaks about its quality. I purchased this thousand gram insulation due to a job. I was working in Duluth Minnesota. This boot kept my toes from going numb. Due to my bad circulation in my feet keeping my feet warm was my main objective, and this boot performed excellent. living in Florida I probably won’t wear them much anymore due to their high insulation causing sweaty feet. They do seem to be a very well-made boot. My favorite work boot is timberland pro helix 6 inch steel or composite toe. this is the best steel toe boot I’ve ever worn for comfort and wear. 37 years in the construction industry I’ve wore many different boots.
I have seen many reviews about this product and I was not thinking of buying it because I had bad experiences before with the brand, however I can say that after having bought many boots for the cold This is the best and I am glad to have it. I think that although they are not the most beautiful boots because they look a bit fattening, they are very comfortable and very pleasant, perhaps the only problem The sole is a little thin to my liking and it is not as hot as the rest of the boot, however with a good template I have solved it and I feel very happy
We have checked out so many pairs of work boots. These are the best out of any that my fiance has ever owned. He used to own waterproof Red Wings, they lasted only 3 months. These Timberland PRO's are worth every penny. He is a journeyman carpenter and builds customs homes. He's been working all winter in the snow and he's so stoked on these boots he told me that I should write a review. His feet stay warm and dry all day long, in snow, rain, mud, freezing temperatures. They are like walking on pillows he says. He gets them all muddy and then sprays them off with the hose while still wearing them. Best boots ever! He's had them for 3 months already and they look brand new still. It's amazing really.
I am definitely a fan of these boots. I have never owned a pair before these. The first day I got them, I walked 8 miles in about a foot and half of snow. Feet were nice and dry. Also, I didn’t get any blisters from them. They are very warm and comfortable. They are a little heavier but they are built to last. I used them on concrete for about 6 months and it didn’t even faze the rubber toe guard or the tread on the boot. They also do pretty well on slippery surfaces(oil, water, etc...)
