The Timberland PRO Men's Gladstone ESD Work Shoe stands out in terms of both aesthetic and functionality. With a sleek brown design, these shoes can easily transition from a workshop to an office environment. However, while they excel in comfort and ease of use, potential buyers should be aware of the limitations in insulation and waterproof capabilities.
Comfort is paramount for anyone spending considerable time on their feet, and Timberland’s Anti-Fatigue technology delivers on this promise. Many users report feeling less fatigue even after prolonged usage. The slip-on nature with elastic side goring allows for quick and effortless wear, making these shoes practical for busy workdays.
On the downside, the lack of insulation and waterproofing may deter some professionals, especially if your work environment involves exposure to cold or wet conditions. Additionally, while the steel toe offers great protection, the absence of a metatarsal guard may leave some users feeling exposed in certain jobs.

Great shoe comfortable and stylish toe is not big and bulky and very lightweight. The quality seems pretty excellent I will be purchasing more when mine wear out.
I have been wearing the same style shoes for almost 10 years and I'm not planning to change. They are solid but comfortable and probably some of the most light weight shoes on the market.I wear the shoes at work so I put 40-50 hours a week on them. They last me about 2 years with minimal wear after which I choose to replace so I can have a new pair. When I replace my shoes, I still keep them but use them for yard work around the house.I'm very satisfied with them.
I am 10.5 size. So I purchased a 10.5. They were too big. I ended up buying a 9.5. They fit perfect. Buy 1 full size smaller. But they gave a blister on both heels. I would recommend you break them in properly before going a full day. But they are comfortable. I would recommend them.
I love these shoes! They go on easy, and are a great shoe to wear when you don’t feel like putting your boots on. The toe is like a steel toe so no worries about stubbed or smashed toes and are extremely slip resistant on slippery surfaces. Not bad looking as well. Great for working around the yard or around town.
The shoe quality is good. The anti-slip sole is nice. The insole comfort is good. The side panel though is too tall and it causes me serious pain and tore through the skin under my ankle bones. Obviously the dimensions to my ankle bone will be different than others, but I have never had a shoe cause me pain in this area so seems to me that they should have put softer material in this area or made the side panels lower. I may not be able to wear them again because it is too painful. Was debating 2 stars but went with 3 stars given that all else about the shoe is good and given that this issue *may* be unique to the dimensions of my feet and ankles.
I needed a shoe to protect my feet when carrying heavy things in and out of the house and garage, as well as for foot protection while using power tools and large pieces of plywood.Because I often needed to remove these shoes to enter a clean house, it was important that they could be kicked off and put back on easily. These have been perfect!Because I have worn them in Boston winters with thick socks, they have stretched out - to the point where, now that I live in a much warmer city, they are just about too large.I'll replace them with this exact model, with no hesitation: terrific shoes when you need both toe-protection and rapid on-off!
I have worn Timberlands for years and these are by far the worse boots I have ever bought. The fit is irregular at best. I ordered a size down as everyone recommended and they are still WAY too big. I would have to wear 3 pairs of heavy wool socks to get an even close fit. Walking around they are ridiculously heavy for such a small boot, and the tread is useless for outside. If I hadn't thrown away the box I would have returned these boots right away.
