Edited review. After 8 months the bottom started to crumble apart. Ive never seen a she do that before. I really liked these shoesand 8 months is ok but I would of liked my boots to last longer. Just a heads up. However I would still recommend it and will re buy.As a construction worker I am up and down ladders, walking through either a nice home or complete muck. It’s nice to be able to spray them clean and not get my socks wet. At 6ft y’all and 190lbs I wear a size 13wide. It’s hard to find a comfortable work boot to lug around all day. I can honestly say I have put these boots through the ringer this summer. And they have been great to my feet. They fit perfectly. Even though it’s a Steele toe boot, you wouldn’t be able to tell from the feeling inside. Normally I can’t wear Steele toes because they rub. Not these bad boys tho. Before I started to really destroying them I would wear them out to dinner with some jeans and they looked appropriate for evenings out. More than I can say for any other pairs of work boots I’ve owned. They just have a nice look to them that you don’t normally get from work boots. They are holding on strong. I am noticing the material over the “Steele toe” is starting to tear. Ive pretty much got my 100$ (Or whatever it was) out of them so far. Let’s see how they last through the winter. That will be the true tale tale sign if they are just good or amazing. If they do last. I will buy two more pairs to have on hand for a while. Hope this review helps. Thanks timberland!!
I’ve had these shoes for almost a week and they’re already broken in. They have plenty of room in the toe box and provide me with adequate arch support. I really do love these shoes. I’m on my feet all day and my feet haven’t hurt since I started wearing them. Walking on concrete all day is no longer a problem. I would recommend these to anyone, they’re a really nice looking casual boot and I really can’t say enough about the comfort!
These so far seem to be pretty durable, relatively lightweight for a safety toe boot, and look great as well. My only real complaint is that they have a fairly aggressive arch support molded into the shoe bed and an odd heel shape on the insole. They’re not as comfortable as I would have liked but that could honestly be from having a weird foot shape.
Got these to wear while on the motorcycle- very stylish, great support in the heels, and love how the soles give me some extra height so I can put both feet flat on my bike. I think they actually look better in person than in the pictures which is rare, and my feet feel very comfy and safe in them. The only thing I could think of complaining about would be the ankles- compared to standard work boots there’s not as much support there, but I kind of assumed that when purchasing and the lower cut adds to the fact that I can feel comfortable wearing them to my business-casual office job and not have to change shoes when I ride to work. I don’t think they’d be my first choice on a construction job site, but they are perfect for the specific reason I got them and I’m sure they will last for years!
Light weight, not bulky at all. Much comfortable than steel-toed ones. Definitely will buy this again.
First went to big brand stores that specializes in boots that had a big selection of safety toe boots. However not only did they have a big selection to choose from, the prices were also pretty big closer to double than this pair of boots. Also not very attractive but obviously you buy this for safety. In my case I dress business casual but is a requirement to wear safety toe boots so I wanted something that would somwhat blend with my attire in my case. This boots look real cool and feels very comfortable working closer to 60 hours a week. I have been asked if this were actually safety toe boots they look somewhat casual. Overall they fit perfect and so far they are holding up with just your normal wear and tear.5 out of 5 now only time will tell how they hold up.
These run a bit large, I ordered my normal size and I had to send them back and get a half size smaller. They are well made boots but they are very heavy compared to a hiking type boot. I do a lot of walking at work and by the end of the day my legs are worn out due to the extra weight of these boots. After wearing them for a couple weeks I now regret buying them. Some people might not mind the extra weight but I walk 5-6 miles a day it was to much for me.
For sizing, these run traditional. I recently found out that my feet are wide, so I had been wearing larger size shoes to get more width. I got these boots in wide, half size larger than my brannock device size (the foot measurement device at shoe stores). I also ordered these in my measured size and felt they were just too tight on my toes. That being said, breaking these in was pretty brutal. A lot of painful heel rub as other reviewers said, and just generally rough on the feet. I was worried this was because I went with the half size larger. I was right about to give up on these boots. However, after a month or two they started to break in. Now they are super comfortable on my feet, and I really like them. Have gotten complements on them at work as well. The included insoles didn't provide any arch support, so I replaced them right away. They do good in rain. The bottom part is white and gets dirty really easily of course.
