The Timberland PRO Men's Barstow Wedge Work Boot stands out in terms of craftsmanship and reliability. With its mocc-toe design, it offers not only a stylish edge but also a robust build that withstands daily wear and tear. The speed-lacing hardware allows for quick adjustments, ensuring a secure fit whether you're working on a construction site or tackling weekend projects.
The boot’s dual-density anti-fatigue technology provides exceptional comfort, which is crucial for those long shifts. This feature absorbs shock and returns energy to your feet, helping reduce fatigue significantly. Moreover, the lightweight EVA midsole contributes to the comfort level, making them easy to wear all day.
In addition, the slip, oil, and abrasion-resistant rubber outsole gives you peace of mind when navigating slick surfaces, enhancing your safety on the job. The mesh tongue lining treated with Agion promotes breathability, keeping your feet cool and dry even during strenuous activities.
However, some users have reported that the boots may require a break-in period. While this is common for many high-quality leather boots, it can be a deterrent for those looking for immediate comfort.
Overall, the Timberland PRO Barstow Wedge is a solid investment for anyone in need of a durable, comfortable, and protective work boot.

I don't use the included insoles, rather, "Dr. Scholl's Work Insoles All-Day Shock Absorption and Reinforced Arch" as the base arch support and place Dr. Scholls 'Float on Air' inserts stacked on top, cut snugly to fit. With this combo, this is THE most comfortable shoe/boot I have ever worn. I have bought about 5 pairs and really abuse them, but beeswax, regular cleaning and heavy duty laceshelp. These last about 6-8 months before the soles wear out and my knees begin to be sore. I really don't mind buying twice a year. Not too heavy.(Unionbay Ranier Travel Tech Pants fyi)
These are the best work boots I’ve ever had. I have some foot problems and these are the most comfortable boots I’ve worn that don’t make my feet hurt. I get on roofs from time to time for work and they provide really good grip.
Theae boots are very comfortable. Really. Very very comfortable. They feel light for a work boot, and are very easy on my feet. However - the whole ankle section of the boot is simply a piece of semi floppy leather. That's not a bad thing - but I ended up returning these and going with the pit boss, which also feels great but is much more supportive for my overpronation. If I had the funds for it, I would have kept these as warm season hunting boots. Maybe I will get a pair in the future for that purpose. Incidentally, I normally wear a 9.5 wide shoe. In this boot, 9.5 medium was right in the width, but crazy long. 9 wide was just right for me. In the pit boss, 9.5 medium is perfect. Go figure.
This is the 5th pair of these boots for me. These boots have the best insole on the planet. No break in period maybe 1 day. Trust me if you like a wedge toe boot this is the best.
Comfy and durable. I work in commercial construction, and I'm on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day, and this boot has completely exceeded my expectation.
A good working boot soft and durable
Didn’t last 5 months
Came wider than expected. My husband had to put in his own "hard plastic arch support" insoles for comfort. The tops rub his ankles even if he doesn't lace all the way to the top. Probably a better boot for the money out there.
