The Timberland PRO Men's Barstow Wedge Work Boot stands out for its remarkable combination of style and functionality. When it comes to durability, the 100% leather construction provides substantial protection against wear and tear. Whether you're on a construction site or navigating through rugged terrain, these boots are designed to withstand tough conditions while looking good.
In terms of comfort, the dual-density anti-fatigue technology really shines. This innovative feature absorbs shock and provides maximum energy return, making long hours on your feet significantly more bearable. The mesh tongue lining treated with Agion helps mitigate moisture buildup, keeping your feet dry and comfortable throughout the day.
The lightweight EVA midsole adds an extra layer of cushioning, which is particularly beneficial for those who work in settings where they are constantly moving. The slip, oil, and abrasion resistant rubber outsole ensures gripping power, reducing the risk of slipping in potentially hazardous environments.
However, potential buyers should be aware that there may be a slight break-in period as the leather molds to your foot shape. Additionally, the color choices are somewhat limited, which might not appeal to everyone's personal style.
Overall, the Timberland PRO Men's Barstow Wedge Work Boot is an excellent investment for anyone seeking a reliable, stylish, and comfortable boot with essential safety features for demanding work environments.

The first day I wore these was a heavy day at work and despite being new they broke in quickly and caused no problems. The leather is thick and pliable and the lacing allows adjustment to get the boot to conform to individual foot shapes. They have excellent under-foot cushioning and are light for as substantial as they are. Much more comfortable than Keens which seemed flimsy a couple months in; higher quality materials than Rooster (name?) brand. Leather seems pre-shaped to help it conform to the foot. Med width was too narrow & heel too wide but the wide fit my forefoot and gave enough adjustment to anchor my heel with lacing.
Now I love these shoes and they are very nicely made, but one negative thing I would have to say was that they were a little snug on the width. I bought the wide version of these shoes (I believe the widest ones) and at first they were a little tight on the width (left shoe). But the more I am using them the more I notice this is going away and they are very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with these shoes and love them. These are not the steel toe shoe version but what is nice that it does come with a plastic protection on the toe that does help give some protection. I didn't notice this in the description and I thought it was a nice touch. They are also slip resistant and they work great. Would recommend to anyone wanting work boots.
I bought these to replace an old, trust work boot that wore out. I picked these because I trust the brand and it had a good price point. I am glad I did because they may be the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. And they were comfy right away without a break in period. I will wear them until they die and then buy another pair. The am glad I didn't pay more for the red wing or Chippewa moc boot because these have done the trick and I don't have to feel worried about messing them up because of the price tag.
Normally I am a size 11 but these run a little large the 10.5 was comfortable had to return as they felt heavy on the rooftops and ladders. Prefer something more lightweight and firm fitting for unltimate movement. Almost felt like snow shoes lots of material just didn't work for me. But very comfortable no pain or break in foot pain I normally get. I'll stick to my Chippewas or Red Wings.
The toe box is is bigger than many. The boot is more height in the toe box than my Redwings had which is great for orthopedics or thicker socks.
Comfortable boot. Bought wide to have a little wiggle room in the toe box which is tight with moc toe boots. Could use a little more cushion. Wear them 10 hours a day so I'll probably add an insole.
Great pair of boots. Fit perfect the first time I put them on. No break in required. I love them.
Solid boot for price but be aware that the soles aren't for heavy duty construction work. Very comfortable, really no break in period.
