Out of the box these boots feel like they are already broken in. I wear them on my farm over muddy and uneven terrain. They keep my feet dry, comfortable and keep debris out. I wish we had these in the Army. When I wear them out, I'll buy another pair.
The goodFor 2 years I had been plagued with food pain due to Plantar Fasciitis, but these boots combines with Superfeet Black allowed my foot to finally heal.These boots are good at taking abuse. I was able to get 7 months out of these boots and they aren't finished yet. The sole is getting worn out and twisted so it's best to get another pair. At work I walk on rebar, climb rebar cages, walk on slabs, and these boots are able to withstand that abuse without getting torn up. The leather on these boots holds up well.The downside is the waterproofing in these boots does not work, period. There is no waterproofing at all. The best thing you can do is oil these boots.These boots fit a little bit big but when they get wet they're even worse. The leather will stretch too much and too easily when these boots get wet. I'm going to try these in a "D" the next time and hope that doesn't rub my feet raw. My feet are too big for size ‘D’ but not big enough for Wide.***Update***I’m on my 3rd pair of Timberlands. For my 2nd pair, I tried the size D boots and they fit perfectly. Although I was walking on concrete a lot more and it wore down the sole quickly.
There very nice and comfortable
I finally got to use these boots as I bought them for rainy days in the woods with my gun dog. Rained all day last Sunday and these did NOT disappoint! They were comfortable all day and kept my feet dry from the rain / mud and I did not sweat in them even with thick socks! Gave 4 stars due to they are a little on the heavy side but not awful. Definitely recommend them!
I work in the tree service and these boots are the best boots that last the longest out of,rocky,chippawa,justin,chippewa,hermans,keen.Wore for 2 years 2 months straight everyday cutting timber,hiking,dirtbikes,fourwheelers,everythung.Break in takes about 3 hours with mink oil.Never had my feet wet,stayed ankle deep in mud and water 8 hours a day for half the year.Best boot ever in my opinion. Comfort,waterproof,ankle support.Hell I never even broke a lace.The video is the 2 year old ones and the new ones.I think IL make love in um next hahahahahh
These are much more comfortable than the composite toe version of this boot. I have flat feet and need a boot that can be worn with high arch supporting insoles. These boots work really well with orthotic insoles. The insoles that come with the boot also give good arch support.
A bit on the expensive side , but we'll worth it . I work construction and I'm constantly on my feet . I wear the boots 14-16 hrs a day ... soooo comfortable . Warm , dry , durable . I'd definitely buy again !!!
