The Timberland PRO Men's 50506 Titan 6" Lace to Toe Safety Toe Boot stands out in terms of construction quality. The use of 100% leather guarantees longevity, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone requiring reliable work footwear. These boots feature an alloy safety toe that effectively protects against workplace hazards without adding excessive weight.
In terms of comfort, the polyurethane midsole plays a significant role in providing cushioning, which can help alleviate foot fatigue when standing for extended periods. However, one aspect that potential buyers should consider is the lack of insulation and waterproofing, which could limit their practicality in certain environments.
Another highlight of these boots is their breathable mesh lining. This feature helps regulate temperature within the boot, allowing for all-day wear without excessive moisture build-up. Furthermore, the rubber outsole provides excellent traction, ensuring stability on various surfaces, whether you're working indoors or outdoors.

After using these boots for 2-1/2 years I'm now comfortable providing a review. While these have not been used in the harshest environment (oil field, construction, etc.) they have been used frequently in light construction, landscaping and urban hiking (dog walking) in rain, snow and mud.Compared to other boots I have owned recently, these earn a high rating for durability. The soles have not worn excessively even with a lot of walking on concrete, asphalt or gravel. Solid enough to wear well but soft enough to grip and be comfortable. My recall is that the fit was quite well right out of the box. My foot geometry has a narrow heel so EVERY boot requires me to make some minor adjustment with lacing, socks, etc. The lace-to-toe feature seems to add to that stability by securing the boot at the ball of my foot to minimize slippage front to back. Other than my odd heels the overall fit is great with enough room in the toe box and a snug grip around the arch and ankle. No noticeable deterioration in the uppers at this time. Overall stitching, eyelets, hooks, leather and sole bonding is like new. NOTE TO TIMBERLINE: The upper hooks could be a bit larger as the laces are barely covered by the hook. This results in the lace popping out of the hook unless tension is provided at the perfect angle when tying. Once they're properly tied it is a secure fit.Overall I would recommend these boots based on durability, fit and value and would definitely by another pair. Not needing replacement now (and no longer needing this type of boot) I'll continue to use these for multiple uses as they are versatile enough for many applications.
The most confortable, durable, tough, ortopedic, and bad ass shoe in the world , i work in construction and suffer lowback pain these are the shoes i trust and tried on and on , they just deliver i love them !!
These are my fourth pair. These are the only boots I have found that are both comfortable and durable. My job is hell on boots. These are the greatest.
Like the boots and it fit well
I purchased these in 10.5M after purchasing the Timberland Pro Men's Direct Attach 8" Steel Toe Boot in 10.5M for last winter. Those boots feel rock solid on my feet and I can wear them all day. The Titans are good, but didn't quite have the same feel. Maybe the arch support is different, maybe its the lack of insulation or just because its a shorter boot. Overall the boot is good, the leather is comfortable and supple and the boot can be worth right out of the box. Better for indoor/warehouse work over rugged outdoor construction work but would work for either. They seem to run just a tad big but I've never had an comfort issues and they look nice with jeans or even with shorts.
These are a worthwhile investment. I really don't like safety toe shoes in general and was pleasantly surprised by these boots. Not only are they comfortable, they are lightweight. They do not feel heavy and clunky like normal safety shoes. The leather is supple and flexible so there is no break-in time required. The soles have very good padding. All of my other boots required inserts but these have held up nicely with the stock insoles. Two other features that have been helpful are the height of the boot itself and size of toe box. These are available in wide widths which not only improves comfort, it allows me to get a shorter size making them fit better than getting a half size larger in regular width to achieve the necessary room for my duck shaped foot. I find the height of the boot to be better than most for my ankles. Some boots seem to be too high and rub the sides of my lower leg which quickly becomes uncomfortable. After many miles and long days in the ship yard, these have proven to be the most comfortable safety boots I have ever worn. I recommend them to anyone needing high quality boots at a reasonable price.
Timberland boots have always been great boots usually no break in just put them on and go and they last better than most boots that are way more expensiveI will always buy them
These shoes scar very easily. Most comfortable rugged work boot for extreme conditions. Even though they look dead after two weeks they maintain their fit and support. I usually buy one pair every two years. Now I use them for yard work because my arches hurt after a day using a different shoe. With these my feet don’t get sore and I stay energized.
