The Terra Men's Spider X Industrial Shoe excels in multiple areas that are crucial for any worker. One notable feature is its water-resistant upper. Constructed from durable suede and nubuck leather, this shoe effectively shields your feet from spills and moisture while maintaining an attractive appearance. The lightweight material allows for ease of movement, making it ideal for individuals constantly on their feet.
Another significant aspect is the breathable cushioning. The CLEANFEET odor control treatment ensures your feet stay fresh throughout the day, even during intense physical activity. Coupled with a premium single-density PU footbed, you'll find this shoe provides exceptional comfort and support.
Safety is paramount in industrial environments, and the Spider X does not disappoint. Its meta-free construction combined with a CSA Grade 1 composite toe provides peace of mind without the added weight of traditional steel-toe shoes. The reflective micro-printing enhances visibility, making them suitable for low-light conditions.
Despite these strengths, it's worth noting that some users may find the fit less accommodating for wider feet. Additionally, while ideal for many work scenarios, they might not provide adequate warmth for extremely cold temperatures.
In summary, the Terra Men's Spider X Industrial Shoe is a solid investment for professionals seeking safety, comfort, and durability in their footwear.

Great shoe from a skilled tradesman. The wide fit is nice and ridged with the reinforced toe. Only on day 2 but the breathability in Florida is great. I put shoes through a lot. Kicking turf back on pipe buries with my whomper. Peroxide, chlorine, salt , water, follow back once the rubber comes off the sol. Very comfortable. Made well. The rubber on the tread adds stability to the whole shoe as well.
Got these shoes for the gym in October 2022. Today is February 24, 2022. I wear these shoes from 8am - 11am 6 days a week at the gym. The heels in both shoes have holes in them already - see the photo. My usual issue is shoe width. It’s hard to get shoes to fit my 4E feet. The sizing data on the description page for these shows said the sizing was accurate. I wear safety shoes at the gym due to an incident years ago where a newbie gym member dropped a 5-pound plate on my foot and broke my toe. Some reviews said these shoes run a size large. Not in my case, I bought my usual shoe size. The Amazon “try before you buy” is ideal for folks like me. It didn’t need the service because these shoes fit very well right out of the box.I’ve worn them daily 6 days a week at the gym for about 90 minutes. At first, I don’t even notice that I have them on but they get tiring over time. I have worn them for longer periods of time, and they do make my feet feel tired after about 5-6 hours, so I understand the reviews citing discomfort. I only wear these shoes 2-3 hours a day max and mostly for lifting with some cardio.Overall, the fit, material used and finish quality on the Terra’s are all good but the unusually quick "heel holes" are unacceptable. These shoes are a bit heavier than standard gym shoes or sneakers but it’s a price I’ll pay to avoid another broken toe from some newbie gym joker. Hope that helps!
These are the best work shoes! Sizes are true.
Order a size smaller than you need. They are very strong and comfortable. They look great too. Great product from terra brand like always. Love their products
Extremely uncomfortable. Beware if you have any sort of back, foot, or knee issues. Midsole is hard as a rock and very unforgiving. Tough looking shoe not built for comfort. Definitelya BIG NO for working on concrete. Most uncomfortable shoe i have ever owned at the ripe age of 40. Not a big guy either at 6'2 200lbs if your wondering. so i dont have a bunch of weight on my feet. Huge waste of money. You have been warned!!!!
I don't need to wear steel toes for work, but my son does. So, I was thankful to get a pair of these for him to try.First off, this shoe looks really good. The design is nice, and the decorative pieces on the side look nice too. The soles are thick and sturdy. The entire shoe is very well made. They are pretty heavy...the steel toe accounts for that, I am sure. The tongue is super thick for comfort, but I was surprised to see a shoe like this, made for hard work, didn't have one of those things on the tongue for shoestrings to pass through (not sure what they are called). It is just the tongue. Not a deal-breaker - just an observation. These shoes have great work features:- static dissipative- puncture-resistant soles- electric shock resistanceAnd they do all that while lookin' good!My son said they are very comfortable shoes to wear. So far, he likes them a lot. Should anything change, good or bad, I'll update my review. But for now, these seem to be excellent steel toe work shoes.
These look just like athletic shoes - no indication of the reinforced toe. I've worn them for the past few days and they are comfortable. The heels feel a bit thicker than typical athletic shoes - the first couple of times I wore them I could feel a slight forward lean to my posture, but that could be because I tend to wear a lot of sandals. The soles are surprisingly flexible and the shoes are pretty lightweight - around 22 oz each. These feel more like your typical more comfortable athletic shoe than a work or safety show.General: The majority of the shoe looks like suede. The white/silver lines on the sides are reflective. The edges of the soles are rounded. There's a thick rubber toe-guard that protects the shoe front when kneeling.I typically wear safety shoes because I tend to be a clutz in the home workshop - dropped hammers, 2x4's and so on.
Shoe size was to large. I had to order a half size smaller than my normal shoe size. The insole was for a very flat footed person. I had to spend another $25.00 on a pair of insoles that were for a normal arch.
