These shoes look better than I thought they would and are far less comfortable than any skechers I've owned. Not much padding on carbon fiber toe, not very slip resistant on a cement dock, no idea if puncture resistant, yet. Maybe they break in? I'll probably use them to lift weights or something. So far not comfortable on the dock to walk or on my back. Yet I'm not sending them back either so we will see. Seem pretty well made and like they'd protect toe externally except not inside shoe from rubbing the composite until toes raw. Idk.—-update I’ve grown to like these. Seriously that’s my black toe nail but years since then I’ve adjusted to them and ordered them a few times. The back part of the shoe will blow out and the foam and eventually get destroyed but 100,000 steps in 5 days weekly I’m beating the sneakers millions of steps in a year. From 3 to 4 stars now as far as I’m concerned the sneakers are pretty good and I now use orthopedic inserts. Not bad, good value. Better to beat the shoes than my back hips knees and whatnot. I’ve ordered them a few times including just now. Pretty pretty good. When I find a perfect work sneaker I’ll stop ordering them. It this is as good as I’ve found for walking concrete and protecting my feet.

Sure looks great but runs super small. I wear size 8 1/2 in men’s size, I got a size 9 and it was still too tight.

bought them March 24 th now May 5 th uncomfortable to my feet the sidewalls of the shoe will not protect against anything the foam heals is falling a part i would expect better quality from sketcher the carbon toe is good only thing i like about the shoe i would not recommend them to anyone if you want to protect your feet after working 10 hour day on my feet i cant wait to get out of them going back to Merral boots
