These shoes have no give whatsoever. I tried breaking them in to soften them up but to no avail. I bought a pair of work skechers 2 years ago and they were super comfy. But sadly I haven't found them again and I keep getting these rock solid shoes. C'mon skechers what in the world happened to the comfort? I still wear my Skecher sneakers that are very comfortable on my days off. These shoes are like walking on cement with bare feet.

The shoes are very attractive, and feel good while wearing them. They are very comfortable. They are very heavy. It is the only reason why they don’t get 5 stars. After 8 hours of work I felt more tired than usual.
I went through 4 pairs of keen before I tried Sketchers work boots. Sketchers are a far better value and more comfortable.I'm a local truck driver and I'm in and out of the truck 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. The steps on the trucks are like cheese graters so they tear up boots quick. I'm also on my feet more than in in the truck. Mostly walking on concrete.Sketchers typically last me 6-11 months. This is my first time buying this particular model/style but I'm happy so far with the comfort.A lot of reviewers are calling this boot "heavy" and I disagree. They are steel toe and they feel normal. Anyone who has never worn a steel toe or isn't used to them might consider them heavy feeling I suppose.They're pretty damn waterproof so far too. Worked one day in the Florida rain so far they held up great in deep puddles.
