The initial break-in period (2 weeks to 1 month) is rough, but afterward they are pretty comfortable. The traction is great. No slips. 3 months in, they are still holding up well. I estimate they'd last 6 months to a year. They also look a little better than many non-slip/restaurant shoes.
I work in a stadium where I walk a ton. There is a lot of different floors I encounter on a daily at work. Having shoes that works on just about every surface makes kitchen life so much easier. I have wide feet so this pair of shoes doesn't hurt my feet at the end of the day(sometimes I'll stand for 8-9hrs) I would only suggest exploring different insole options. Biggest upside is you don't slip when oil gets on your bottoms

After a few months of daily restaurant wear, these still look and feel good. I’ve had plenty of the converse and chukka boots, but these are far superior. Look like a classic work shoe, so they’re still punk rock enough.

good fit...good stability...a little heavy, but a lot of stable shoes are heavy...wont slip on anything other than a sheet of ice.butthe inside collar makes holes rather easily and the 'leather' on top of the shoe under the laces is waaaay to thin and will show splits and cracks sooner than they should; no matter how much you condition them
