The Shoes for Crews Rowan excel in several categories that matter most to workers seeking reliable footwear. Their slip-resistant technology stands out as one of the most critical features. The GLADIATOR outsole is designed to provide maximum grip on diverse surfaces—an invaluable attribute for jobs where slips and falls are a risk.
The water-resistant leather upper is another significant benefit, especially for individuals working in environments prone to spills or moisture. Whether handling food in a kitchen or working in construction, these shoes reduce the potential for water damage.
When it comes to comfort, the premium comfort insole does an admirable job at absorbing shock and providing arch support. Users have reported feeling less fatigue after prolonged periods of standing or walking in these shoes.
On the downside, some users have noted that there may be a slight break-in period required before achieving maximum comfort. This is a common experience with many work shoes but is worth mentioning. Additionally, while the color choice of black is classic and professional, some might wish for more variety.
Overall, the Shoes for Crews Rowan combines safety, comfort, and style, making them a strong contender for anyone in need of dependable slip-resistant work shoes.

I bought this pair with the hopes of superior water resistance because the three pairs I’ve worn to my restaurant job have left my feet soaked and in horrible condition. I have been so pleasantly surprised!! The initial break in period is definitely rough, and I was worried they wouldn’t be comfortable but after a week, they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had to work in. I’ve walked two miles home after a 14 hour shift and had zero foot pain/aches/problems! They’ve been so reliable at my job that I wore them for a moderate level hike and they worked perfectly! Fantastic ankle support and traction helped me run through that hike with ease 💪 At work as well, I find the stability and traction they provide allows me more comfortable range of motion and posture, keeping not just my feet healthy but the rest of my body as well. Additionally, they’re so easy to clean, which has helped me keep a more professional look since my old shoes always got caked over with food product and stains. These ones stay shining ✨ I ordered 8.5 in men’s and I was concerned there was too much space at the toe, but because of how snug it is at the ankle, I haven’t had any uncomfortable slippage or looseness in the shoe. And, of course, the water resistance has been top tier, my feet have never been drier. I’m very happy with these boots ☺️
I like that they are reliable and comfortable and also support my feet and ankles. The only thing I dislike is they are hard to get on and the gf but they are boots I’m just not used to it
I thought they would fall apart sooner but they're still going. 5 days a week in food service and I don't treat them gently. They still have good traction and still seem mostly waterproof, though I don't know if I would be as happy with these if I didn't have my boot dryer to set them on for a few hours every night. That and spraying off the soles while I leave work are all the maintenance I do. They were also extremely uncomfortable to wear the first week or two, but eventually broke in well.
My boots feel like they were custom made for me. There was no breaking in period. They were comfortable right out of the box. My job requires me to walk on wet steel floors and greasy restaurants floors. The anti slip is top of the line. My feet have not slipped at all. These are the best work boots I have ever had. Shoes For Crews are my forever go to work boots. One single minor problem is the shoe laces. They tend to come untied. This is not just a 5 star review This is a a 5 Golden Star review.
The boots are ok but I recommend the factory put more leather and no plastic rubber because burns the skin on hot weather
These boots are good, so far they're pretty sturdy. Now one thing to note is, these boots picks up alot more dirt and trash from the ground than your usual boots and shoes. If you're working in a dirty environment such as I do, then you're gonna have to clean the bottom regularly. They pick up everything they step on.
The chart is off I usually where 11 half to 12 pending the boot or shoe And that’s what i ordered but did not fit because the run small so I returned the and got a bigger size
