When it comes to choosing the right pair of shoes for work, the Rocky mens Fq0005001 Oxford stands out for several reasons. First, let's talk about the fit and comfort. Initially, it might feel a bit stiff, typical with most leather shoes; however, after a brief break-in period, they conform nicely to your foot shape, providing ample arch support and cushioning. This is especially beneficial for those who find themselves on their feet for extended hours.
In terms of style, these Oxfords have a timeless appeal. The sleek silhouette and classic black finish make them a versatile choice for both formal and business-casual settings. Whether you're wearing dress pants or chinos, these shoes seamlessly elevate your outfit.
Durability is a hallmark of the Rocky brand, and the Fq0005001 model doesn't disappoint. The full-grain leather not only adds to the aesthetic but also offers impressive water resistance. This feature is particularly advantageous for professionals working in varying weather conditions, ensuring that you stay comfortable and dry throughout the day.
Lastly, maintenance is relatively uncomplicated, given that these shoes can be machine washed. It’s a welcome convenience that adds to their practicality, allowing you to focus on your work rather than worrying about shoe upkeep.

Product listing is seriously messed up. First, the shoe is not a "Mid Calf Boot". Second, FQ0005005 is for the ankle high CHUKKA BOOTS which the listing will show pictures of at the bottom if no size is selected which will be different than the pictures at the top. The item model number in "Product Details" IS correct ( FQ0005001). Once put in your cart, it will be called a "Rocky Duty Men's TMC Athletic Oxford" which is confusing because there is actually a Rocky Postal shoe called a "911 Athletic Oxford" (see manufacturer website) and the official website name for this shoe does not have "Athletic" in its name.I got the shoes I wanted and I am happy with them.
Not worth it. Somehow these boots run too big and hurt my toes at the same time. My heel slips out constantly and feet slide around no matter how tight I tie it. And for shoes that cost over $110, the laces are no better than sewing thread. Not a comfortable shoe, especially on hills.
I had to return these shoes for a number of reasons. the first reason was that I had severe heal slip on my left shoe only. The lace holes doe not allow for any type of alternate lacing pattern to prevent heel slipping. This is unfortunate that they do not have an additional eyelet. The second reason is because the laces are very poor. They easily become undone and look very flimsy. I would double tie them if they were long enough, but unfortunate they were very short. As far as comfort goes, they are top notch. They feel very good to walk on concrete and over moderate terrain. You dont feel yourself stepping on small rocks or cracks easily.I had to return these because of the above mentioned issues. However, I did like them enough to find a store that sold them locally. I tried on the same pair/size and found that this pair did not suffer from heel slip. So I ended up buying them locally and slapped on a pair of my own laces.
Have worn this specific model of Rocky's for, what is into my second decade. Worn at work in the Post Office where I was introduced to them by a letter carrier. They are like walking on clouds.
These shoes are just what I was looking for,I have tried several pair but these are the best by far would recommend for anyone.
Great when working on your feet.
If my job didn't require them I would not own them. Have to buy insoles for any comfort.
