Rocky boots (and in this case shoes) are incredibly consistent in quality, fit and comfort. I am a 62 year old Mining Engineer and hobby farmer who lives in the far north. I own several types of Rocky boots. I especially love the Alpha Force (cop boots my wife calls them), but these slip stop 911 offer a Rocky dress shoe without the aggressive tread. The thing about Rocky is that once you find your fit, they all fit perfectly no matter what style. And the comfort (at least for me) is second to none. Over my career in every type of mining environment you can imagine, I have trying every kind of boots. Lots of really good ones out there and personal fit is always a thing, but Rocky does not disappoint. And the price is very fair for what you get.
I have been ordering these work shoes for my husband for years. They came quickly which was great. My Husband loves them … he works in garages and is hard on his shoes but these are well made and are comfortable
I'm a UPS driver and I am on my feet for 10 hours a day. These shoes are exactly what I needed. They fit great and they had a very short break in period and they have good arch support which helps when I'm getting in and out of the package car, going up and down stair wells ext. I have Rocky hunting boots and they work great and this is the first work shoes that I have worn from Rocky and I like them a lot. It's been raining here all week and they are very slip resistant on what ever surface I am walking on. I will buy them again.
This is my second pair of rocky shoes, and love it. My job requires me to wear black oxford shoes, and on average I stand, kneel, walk, and run 6 to 15 hours and because of this I go through a pair every year. My last rocky shoes lasted me 2.5 years. The shoes is surrounded by cushion so there is no friction or rubbing on your foot. I've never tired to see if this is slip resistance, but their is not a lot of treads at the bottom of the shoes which gives the impression the slip resistance is not best. If your job requires black oxford shoes, I highly recommend rocky. Take care of your foot and back and get these shoes.
Ordered these for working at the Fire station, I have worn Rocky's for years and these shoes are exactly as I expected them to be, They are indeed nonslip and are actually very comfortable for a work shoe. I know my size in Rocky shoes and they arrived fitting my feet perfect.

I had to return them because there alot smaller than advertised. I heard they are good shoes if they fit.
It's called the slipstop...but walking on a wet floor at work I almost slip and fall every time. However, it's a good looking, well made shoe.
