I am so glad that safety shoes have improved so much since the back in the day when it felt like you were wearing 50 pound concrete blocks on your feet. These shoes are really nice. They are very light and have tons of cushion in the soles to soften the concrete that you find yourself standing on for long hours every single day. The toe caps are durable and, unlike the sardine cans of old, they offer plenty of room for your toes to breathe. The shoes have been durable so far, but I only have a few weeks of use out of them so time will tell. They also look fairly decent for a pair of safety shoes, so that's a bonus. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
The Rockport Work Truflex Safety shoes are comfortable, reasonably stylish, light duty safety shoes. Light duty meaning, the job site requires safety shoes; however, you are an observer that will NOT be involved in the work. Given that case, these shoes are great. The meet the safety requirements, look pretty good, and dress up with Khakis or down with jeans. Nice shoe with true 8-10 hour comfort. Also, the shoes are true to size so no up or down size weirdness.
I travel for work and needed a lighter pair of safety shoes. I ordered a 7-1/2W. I received an 8W. I kept them anyway. They are a bit big but honestly it’s better than being too tight. I wore them 13 hours a day for 4 days this week and was walking around quite a bit. They were very comfortable and are extremely light. I got several compliments on how nice they look as well.Only didn’t give a 5 star because I didn’t get the size I ordered. I needed to travel with them right when they arrived so I kept them anyway. They are clearly bigger than my other safety shoes.
Before I found these shoes I tried on other steel toes and they were very uncomfortable so I sent them back. These shoes are super comfortable and I wear them every work day. And they have great style too. They seem to be well made. I've had them for months now.
These shoes look great! I was very excited upon their arrival. Until I wore them to work. These shoes have little to no insole in them and are very stiff when walking around. You'll definitely want to buy some new shoe inserts to get through the workday. After wearing the shoes to work once, I went to put them on the next day and the loop on the back pulled right off of the shoe. I will be returning promptly.
After wearing these shoes for over a year daily they are still very comfortable. The composite toe is much lighter weight than a steel toe shoe. The sole surface is still very sturdy. I highly recommend these shoes.
My husband wore these for less than 3 weeks of Normal wear in an office and the (non removeable) insert wore a hole in them. Only 2 stars because the style and exterior of the shoes was nice for safety shoes but the quality is not there. He said they didn't offer much in support either. They were comfortable but not good for long days of working on your feet.
These shoes look great. I ordered two different size 10 Rockport shoes the same day. I have been wearing Rockport for years. The first pair fit as expected, but this model was so small, I could not get my foot in at all. So I can't say anything bad or good here, just get at least one size larger.
