Had the same pair that lasted for several years and were very comfortable. Hopefully these will provide the same comfort and long lasting.
These are indestructible, but over the past 10-12 years, I've worn out two pairs and this is #3. I seem to have picked up some nerve problems in my feet that make hard sole shoes or walking forever like I used to out of the question (i.e., my head thinks I'm 16, my body is telling me it's 160...).I bought Rockports to see if they helped and I can stand on concrete for a couple of hours without a problem. They look good with about anything and I just keep buying them again and again.
My husband loves these shoes and the quality is always excellent.

Comfortable right out of the box
Unbeknownst to me Rockport is now owned by a different company. These deck shoes have been redesigned and have a different fit entirely.This new design is approximately ½ inch shorter and the in-step is noticeably smaller yet they carry the same ‘size’ as the old original Rockport shoe.My suggestion to anyone wanting to purchase any new Rockport shoe is to somehow check the fit before you make your purchase especially if you are basing your size off of an old original Rockport.UPDATE: BUYER BEWARE. Apparently my refund has been issued as a gift card. Somehow this seems unethical. I never ASKED for the REFUND to be issued as a gift card. BUYER BEWARE. Apparently everyone except Amazon knows that REFUNDS go back to the account from which they were originally drawn. BUYER BEWARE. If I wanted to buy a gift card i would have done so. BUYER BEWARE
