These Rockport men’s shoes fit well and are comfortable to wear. I find them to be very good dress shoes.
Great look to the shoe. It's what I was looking for and the price was hard to beat. The only reason I gave it four starts instead of five was that these are not that comfortable. I like the "dressy" look of the plain toe and the black sole and heel. Look nice with a blue suit. Wish dress shoes were made with comfort in mind.
Very light and comfortable
It has a comfortable fit right out of the box. I’m on my feet 8-9 hrs daily so comfort is key.
This is a solidly constructed shoe, excellent ground grip i.e. non-slip, comfortable to wear and walk in.
What I found so shocking was the fact that although it is labeled as a Rockport, this shoe did not fit as a true Rockport shoe.
Bought this shoe in both tan and black to replace older Rockports that were worn out. These are just a bit longer than the ones they replaced, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. The insole comes in two pieces. On top there's a thin foam piece topped with some sort of fabric. Under that is a sort of form fitted support piece. That is most of what dropped these from 5 to 4 stars. The fit of that support piece seems a bit off, and dug into the sole of my foot sort of like I was standing on the edge of a block of wood and the corner was digging into my foot. However, the insole is not glued in. I pulled it out and was able to cut the support piece back so it was only on the heel part of the insole. Problem solved. Strangely, I only had to do that with one of the two pairs I bought. The other two reasons for only getting 4 stars are that the insole itself is quite thin, and so after about a month of pretty near every other day wear, it does not provide much padding. The shoe soles are light weight but don't seem to have much spring/give so the result is that the shoes feel not much softer to walk in than a traditional well built men's dress shoe with a basic hard leather sole.Still, for around 120 dollars U.S. for two pairs of everyday business shoes, a great buy.
- Size is larger about 1/2 more, you should order just 1/2 below and should be fine- Style is not quite attractive once pair up with office attire .
