When it comes to finding a shoe that melds style with functionality, the Rockport Men's Margin Oxford stands out. In terms of construction, the use of full grain or nubuck leather not only enhances the visual appeal but also ensures longevity. You can easily wipe off dirt and grime, making upkeep effortless.
The comfort system integrated into these shoes is noteworthy. Rockport has done an exceptional job incorporating lightweight shock absorption features, particularly in the heel area. Those who spend long hours on their feet will appreciate the reduced fatigue offered by its dual-density polyurethane outsole.
Another significant advantage is the EVA footbed which adapts to your foot's shape. This means that you’re guaranteed a customized fit, enabling you to wear these shoes all day without discomfort. However, potential buyers should be aware that sizing may vary, so it's advisable to try them on first.
While the Margin Oxford excels in many areas, it's worth noting that some users may find the lack of breathability compared to other materials like mesh to be a drawback. Additionally, if you're looking for a wide range of colors, you might be limited to the options available.

Received the goods for some time, the difference than I thought, but the shoes cost-effective, and my father like it.
This replaces a nearly identical pair of black Rockports that I wore infrequently (0 to 2 times a week) for fifteen years. Very comfortable. The narrow width should work from B to AA. I'm an AA and it's not tight, no additional padding needed. Rockport doesn't seem to be as all in on the narrow width option as they were from the 1980s to about 2010, but they still have some. This particular pair passes well for dress shoes in this highly casual age. They're originally for a work environment that involves a lot of standing or walking, mostly on pavement.
First of all, I want to say that these are great shoes! I've bought a pair at least once a year for the past 6 years and have always gotten the "Chocolate" color which is of a dark brown shade. This time however, I wanted a change and saw the "Espresso" which, according to the Amazon pics, are an even DARKER brown suede color. So I was pretty disappointed upon opening the package and finding that they are nothing like the pictures. They are a MUCH lighter shade than what's shown for "Espresso." I am unable to post pictures here that I took of them, but if any of you are familiar with the Pantone Matching System, they match PMS 4655 C.I immediately emailed the shipper of this and they said they'd gladly allow a return...on my "dime" of course. :-/The reason why they don't get a 5-star is because, as others have said, they do squeak and it's kind of embarrassing here in the office when I walk on the laminated floor areas.
These shoes look very nice and I've bought several Rockports over the years. These shoe are just right in the size 10 length but way too narrow. Normally I wear a size 10, and have for about the past 35 years, and I have never bought a size 10 wide. However, these are very tight and start to hurt my feet just trying them on, so I'll definitely need to exchange them for a size 10 wide. Still giving them 5 stars because they are nice shoes.----Update, size 10 wide is a PERFECT fit! Very comfortable, great shoe! Side by side with my other shoes, this 10 wide appears to be about the same visible width as my other 10 regular shoes, where the Rockport size 10 regular visually appears to be more narrow before I ever tried them on. Still, the size difference is not worth knocking a start off because 10 wide is perfect and I love the shoes.
This a very well made and elegant looking shoes but unfortunately not comfortable. I bought a Dr. Scholl's "Knee pain: insole and it is now very comfortable. I wish Rockport uses an expensive comfortable for walk insoles and add that to the price, because an elegant shoes but not comfortable is pointless. Anyway, I'm a big fan of Rockport great products and will definitely buy again.
I wear my Rockports daily for work, as they provide both a classic professional look along with a very comfortable fit. Most brands offer either the “look” or the comfort, but my Rockport shoes provide both. Very happy with my purchase.
I was skeptical to buy this shoe but is actually pretty comfortable and fit good. I love the color and lightness.
I am a deputy Sheriff and wear these shoes everyday in uniform. I use Protalus inserts with them. They are very comfortable and true to size.
