Literally the only thing I have to critique on this show is that is ever so slightly large. I normally wear a 9-9 1/2 W. I bought these in a 9W and they are just slightly too big even when I tie them nice and tight. But if I would go down to an 8 1/2, they would be too tight I think. These shoes are supper light and comfortable! The memory foam insole is among the best that I have tried. The material these are made of (some combination of rip stop, neoprene and I’m not sure what else) is a great combination. The neoprene upper make these shoes super easy to get on and off and not having a separate tongue is a very nice touch. I have put these things through quite a lot, between wearing them for hikes, daily for work even in a warehouse where steel/safety toed shoes are a must, these things are holding up great!I would highly recommend these shoes.
Going on six months of 40 hour a week use on concrete floors in a manufacturing facility. I still dig these shoes. They are comfy, though memory foam insole took a bit of getting used to.They are a bit heavy with the steel toe. An aluminum or comp. toe would be a wonderful option. That said, they are still pounds lighter than the Keen safety toed boots I had prior.Great traction in the central NY winter parking lot trek, but mind they are not waterproof and the slush can creep in before getting through the door from the truck. The shoes are holding up very well at this point. I went out of pocket on these and am glad I did. I will buy another pair when these wear out. I'll update the review at that point, but I expect a good two years out them by how they are holding up.I do suggest getting a wide size for toe room, but that holds true with any steel toed shoe/boot, especially if one is prone to ingrown toenails or bunions. Also, I kinda like the fact that I don't wear the same shoes as everyone else in the plant and I get to offer the EHS folks a kick in the shin when they ask me if I have safety toes.. heh
These are comfortable shoes with safety toes. The toe box is roomy. Basically my only complaint is the design of the lace holes. I'm having a very tough time putting new laces in.
I bought the shoes for my son who is away for three to four months at a time working on cargo ships. He finally got back and tried them on and the tongue does not move, meaning the opening to put his foot into is fixed and will not stretch or dilate any further. So he has to try and fit his size 12 foot into this tiny opening, and he had to cram his foot in and pull this tongue up and pull the heal up and just wrestle with the shoe to get it on! Very very poor design! Very unhappy with this shoe and because of my son's job so much time has passed that I cannot return them. Also very unhappy about that!
I have enjoyed wearing these shoes to work for a couple months now instead of boots. They are breathable and easily hold up through a 10 or 11 hour day without ending up with soaking wet feet. I work inside mostly and walk on concrete or hard packed dirt all day and they are very comfortable. The 12 hour mark is when my feet seem to no longer like these shoes, but they seem to feel that way in any footwear lol. This is my second pair of Reebok safety shoes and I look forward to another pair one day.
I bought these shoes based off the mesh look hoping it would breath well… they do not.I also bought these based off the rip-stop material used hoping they would be a bit more durable. And 4 months later, I start to see the wear marks coming through, the cut on the top of the shoe is from the crease when walking. They definitely are comfortable and they fit good and tight! I do a bit more demanding work so I’m actually surprised these shows held up this long from as much as I’ve put them through… the soles of the shoe have little to no wear shown. However one big downfall is the slip-resistance, these shoes do not have oil-slip resistance or water slip resistance that’s I’ve noticed.
This is the second pair of these shoes that I have acquired. I build decks for a living and like to wear steel toe shoes in the summer (as opposed to boots). They are super comfortable and usually last two building seasons. If they keep making them, I will probably buy them again in the future.
Buy it now. Trust me.
