I got it because I was looking for vegan safety boots and they are pretty hard to find, especially on Amazon. On Amazon, I searched for vegan boots and all I got was a bunch of leather!My main problem with these boots is that it is obvious by the non-skid soles that these are Food Service shoes, not construction boots! Also, I have medium width feet and it is impossible to tighten the laces enough to keep these shoes from rattling around on my feet, even with extra thick socks.
