I ordered these shoes for my 8 year-old son's First Holy Communion. They have a preppy look to them. They are not meant for your typical white dress trouser. They are best paired with chinos. I love these shoes, but I had to return them. They run large. My son wears a 6.5 sized shoe. This shoe only came in full sizes. I ordered a 7. It was too big. He could comfortably wear a size 6 in ths shoe. Otherwise, well made shoe, with leather piping trim.
I'm so pleased to finally find a pair of white books that fits and looks good. I'm a woman and wear a size 8 1/2 - 9 shoe. The boys' size 7 fits great and isn't big and clunky looking like the mens' size 7. Very satisfied.

This is a great shoe. I have been buying it for years for my sons. I was disappointed to receive a lightly worn pair with scuffs on the bottom of the shoe and small stains on the sides and laces - clearly indicating the shoe had been worn :/.
