These shoes used to be a go-to for me. The look and feel is somewhat similar to Doc Martens, but I think more comfortable. I think they tend to size a touch small, but could easily be that I just have wide feet. Regardless, using a shoe stretcher and just normal wear, they fit quite nicely after a week or so. Perfect for my work when a more professional appearance is good, but I don’t have to sacrifice comfort.Are these even still manufactured? Regardless, they are great shows.
So glad I found these shoes again!!!! I used to wear these years ago and then could not find them. Well they popped up on a search recently and I have them again. Same comfort and waterproof!
Best durable well made shoe. Worth every penny
These shoes are wonderful. AMAZING! But - they are made in Spain, so their sizes are on the European scale.The seller, who shipped from Italy, sells them in US or UK sizes (who knows? The page doesn't say!) I asked the seller how to convert the size (I mentioned I wanted a Euro size 43 - as I have owned another pair of these shoes before), and the only response was "It depends on how thick your socks are." Really?I gave it a shot, and sure enough, the shoes were too small - size 42. I returned the shoes and bought them from Arthur Knight's website, in the UK. Paid about US$30 more, but at least I know I am getting the right size!
This is a good shoe. It's much more wearable than all the Dr Martens I tried and had to return. Recommended. However be aware that they run quite small. I'm usually a 11.5W or 12, and I had to return a pair of Panama Jack Men's Casual Oxford in size 12 to get this pair in 13. Even in 13 this shoe is *not* roomy.This pair shipped from Poland, the previous pair from Spain. The Spanish pair was brand new but this pair is clearly itself a return. Leather on both shoes is scratched and neither is as clean as you'd normally get in a new shoe, including the previous pair. Laces had been used too. I'll keep them because it's been so hard to get a size of anything in this class of shoe that actually fits well.
