We found a pair of these at a shoe store probably 4 years ago and they actually had my husband’s size so we grabbed them. He’s a true 13 but some brands he has to go up to 14. These actually fit him perfectly in the 13. He literally wore them smooth out over the course of several years but they held up much longer than I expected. So when he mentioned to me that they were on their last leg and that shoe store doesn’t exist anymore I looked them up by brand here on Amazon. They are a very nice looking dress shoe but can be casual too since they aren’t super shiny like patent. He says that they feel like sneakers and are super comfortable. Also he says the gel thing is very comfortable and supportive. He’s a big guy at 6’8” and 250lbs so for him to say shoes are actually supportive is kinda surprising. He used to only wear boots because he said dress shoes and sneakers weren’t supportive at all. He has to wear a suit and business casual at work most day so these fit the bill perfectly. They run true to size and he loves them. First time he’s ever had a pair of shoes he actually wanted a second pair of. These are reasonably priced for mens dress type shoes and they have the bigger sizes so that’s always a plus. Also when he has to look his absolute best for something they polish and buff really well.

I buy a pair of these every 3-4 years. They have durable soles, nice soft insoles and the outer last. Eventually the backs split but that isn't unusual for 4 years of week-day wear.

I've had a pair for several months and they're comfortable, my only complaint is they are a little snug around the toes. I don't normally wear wide shoes, but I'd get the wide version next time, if I were to purchase another pair. As with most dress shoes, it's really difficult to keep them from wrinkling when you crouch down to tie your show laces, unless you use a short stool.

I wear dress shoes daily to work, so finding a nice looking, durable, and comfortable pair of shoes is important to me. This is my second pair of Nunn Bush. I like the quality shoe that I get for the money. This pair has a gel support inside the shoe for your heel that is very comfortable. They keep a good finish on them as well, and stay looking nice with little extra effort. I recommend these shoes.

I am writing this review several years into owning these shoes. I wear them court and events constantly and they’ve held up quite well with little damage or scuffing. Very comfortable shoe as well. The bottom feels soft and supportive. Would definitely buy again if needed!

Received my shoes Nov 3 2023 2 days ago I notice the side of the right shoe is broken, it has a ripped on the side. These are $70 Dollars shoes how can these be so bad? I stand for couple of hours at work, walk a bit then go home and take them off. Not crazy work load or excessive work, and these shoes are already broken! I'm contacting Amazon and the seller to seek some kind of solution, I'm so mad, they fit great and were so comfortable, but quality is really bad on the materials. I will update later. See pictures.

I had purchased the older Nunn Bush "Marcell" shoe many times and been very satisfied with it. Unfortunately it was discontinued, so I've been looking for a similar replacement. In appearance this is very similar. Unfortunately for me, it has a longer toe box area that extends further back -- as a result it cuts into my instep (top of foot) and there is no way to adjust. I give this a high rating for quality and value -- looks to be as well built as prior Nunn Bush shoes -- but if you are looking for a Marcell replacement, this is quite different and may not be a good choice.
