Wow - these are really attractive, well made shoes. And a great price as well. My husband needed a nice pair of brown leather cap toe oxfords for his daughter’s wedding, and they looked so nice with his tan summer suit. He looked very up to date and fashionable- not “old man” (he’s almost 60).He also found them to be quite comfortable. He has very wide feet at the 11.5 W fit pretty well, although he could have used an extra wide, which unfortunately they didn’t have.If you are truly a wide and not an extra wide, these should fit you comfortably.5 stars all the way.
I bought these because I needed a nice dress shoe for a musical I was performing in. I am on my 30th performance and they still look brand new and holding up perfectly. Nothing falling apart like some cheap shoes do. I have no doubt I will get a few years out of them. Look classy and they are comfortable.
For the price, I think these are great shoes. I get compliments about these shoes all the time from coworkers. However, they do have some flaws:1. I purchased the brown oxfords and the color is true to the picture, however, the heel and sole is black (traditionally brown oxfords have brown heels). This seems to stand out for me every time I wear them.2. The shoes were very stiff when I first wore them, but they were slowly broken in.3. The opening of the shoes is narrower than I would like, so the sides actually rubbed against my ankle when I first started wearing them. Over time, the shoes were broken in and this isn't an issue anymore.4. The shoes provide good support, so I don't mind standing/walking in these all day. But they do feel heavy and make a clunking sound when I walk on hard floors. I've had other oxfords with softer soles that don't make this sound.5. The length and width of the shoe is true to size, however, the opening is narrow (see above comment)Again, I think this is a great shoe for the price and wouldn't mind purchasing these again when my current pair wear out.
My husband wears wide width shoes and it's a challenge to find ones that fit his feet properly and still look nice. Happily, these fit the bill. The look great on, and he says they're very comfortable - he was actually surprised at how comfortable these are. He wore them to an evening event and there was a lot of standing involved - his feet weren't sore by the end of the night, no pinched areas, no rubbing or blistering.They appear very well constructed and I anticipate he'll get years of use out of them.DEFINITELY get these shoes!
I guess I do have an odd foot size. 9.5, if I can find something extra extra wide. (Or I can wear a 11.5 in a normal shoe. But they are way too long.)I have been looking for some good dress shoes, and tried so many, and even the wide ones were quite uncomfortable in most brands. But many years ago I got lucky and bought this same brand, and they seemed great. So I went back to them, with the same size and they fit great. (10.5 Wide) Still a little long for my feet, but I think it's about the most I can ask for.

I bought a pair (cognac) Oct 2022. I have never worn them and it’s brand new condition except I don’t haven’t original box. I bought another pair (black) recently. I would like to exchange my first pair for a smaller size and give it to my son. I realize the window for exchanges and returns have well passed. The shoes came in a timely manner and was the item I ordered. Since buying, I've found that they're taking a really long time to break in. That in conjunction with being a little on the big side made them uncomfortable to wear. The insoles don't come out which is a problem if I wanted to use my orthotic insoles. But they're a nice looking shoe and I've figured out a way to get a thin insole into the shoe to help with support.
