The New Balance 306 Laceless skate shoes are engineered for comfort, durability, and style. Featuring a unique laceless design, these shoes provide a clean look while ensuring ease of entry. The slip-on suede upper is built to withstand the rigors of skating without compromising on breathability, thanks to carefully placed mesh panels.
Product | Material | Closure Type | Breathability |
---|---|---|---|
New Balance 306 Laceless | Suede | Pull-On | High |
Vans Slip-On Pro | Canvas | Slip-On | Medium |
Adidas Busenitz Vulc | Leather | Lace-Up | Medium |
The New Balance 306 Laceless stands out in the competitive world of skate shoes. One of its main advantages is the laceless design, which not only offers a neat aesthetic but also simplifies the process of putting them on. The suede upper is robust, ensuring that it can handle the wear and tear often associated with skating.
The breathable mesh panels contribute significantly to comfort, making these shoes ideal for extended use during skate sessions. The rubber outsole delivers commendable traction, allowing skaters to maintain grip on their boards, enhancing both performance and safety.
Despite these strengths, the absence of traditional laces means you won't have the same level of fit adjustment that some athletes prefer. Additionally, while suede is undeniably stylish, it does require more care to preserve its look compared to synthetic alternatives. Overall, the New Balance 306 Laceless Black/Gum proves to be a solid choice for those seeking a blend of functionality and flair.

The size actually matched the size on shoe!Good skate shoe or walk around shoe.Fits like a glove unless you got wide feet then idk. But I usually microwave my shoes to stretch the material a bit (no metals)
Good looking casual slip-ons. Fit as expected and good to use when I going out for dinner or to friends.
I love these shoes, comfortable to wear all day. The suede is really nice and they stand out just a tad where everyone else is in Vans.
Too narrow. Can't wear them.
As a skateboarder I love these shoes they last better then other slip ons and are comfortable
Well worth the moneyFeel great and look expensive
My shoes were smashed and dusty. But I wasn’t in an area to return so I just wore them anyway. Unfortunate.
I usually wear new balances and was hoping to find a replacement for my old MWM756v1. This pair has a stiff insole, some arch support, and looks nice. It is not designed to be used out of skating, I can feel my feet hurting after walking on these for a while. I wish New Balance would make comfortable slip-ons again, like the MWM756. I'm not sure how these are for skating, but long distance walking is painful on these.
