I've worn nautilus for years. Always comfortable. 1sr time buying over internet tho
Quality shoe, just too small. I would have ordered larger size, but that was twice the cost - make of that what you will.
I have tried three different pairs of Nautilus Safety Toe shoes. The 1392, 1340 and 1317. The first pair I ordered in my usual size of 11. I usually get a wide size and these were offered as extra wide so I chose that width. When I put them on my first thought was that these were just as comfortable as my New Balance Sneakers. But when I stood up my big toe was hitting the end of the shoe. The width was just right. I sent them back. I wanted to get another pair of 1392 in 11.5 but it wasn't offered in a wide width. So I ordered a pair of 1340 in a 11.5 wide (not extra wide). I tried them on and the length was OK but the width was not. So I ordered a pair of 1317 in a 11.5 extra wide. When they came in my toes were still rubbing. I started to order a pair of 12 extra wide but then changed my mind. After three attempts I figured Nautilus just wasn't going to work for me. I wanted these because they are advertised as having an "extra wide" toe cap. Still not enough room for my toes. I think they would be very comfortable if you can find a pair that fits.
I really like these shoes. I wear them all day for work and after hours for team dinners and whatnot. They do great.I ordered the wider version and these are, in fact, wider. I'm still figuring out just how wide my feet are so I can't say for sure if these are "wide enough", but they are comfy all day.
I have worn Keen 9-1/2 wide for years. Decided to try the Nautilus brand. Ordered the 9-1/2 wide. These shoes are much narrower than the Keens. Unfortunately after wearing them in the house on carpet the seller will not accept a return. I don't reccomend the seller. Shoes are probably a quality shoe but would recommend ordering a full size above the normal street shoe size you wear.
Purchased these for my husband as a replacement for the same shoe. He says they are the most comfortable safety shoe he has worn. The size seems to be true. The previous pair lasted almost 3 years with heavy use. The only issue we have encountered is some job sites require steel toe, and these are a composite safety toe. So he is not permitted to wear them at all job sites.
Overall very good. They seem to fit a little too big. But, I would rather them be a little too big than too small. The problem was when ordering the product description said the fit was at 58% of the time. It just didn't say which way,too big or too small.
