Bad quality. Very disappointed. I bought in November 2022z good for four months
I've been wearing Mozo's since 2004 when I was a wear-tester for them when they were starting out. Even though the company sold to Uggs several years ago and now is owned by Shoes for Crews, they are the most comfortable work shoes for chefs that I have ever worn. I have not been a fan of SFC in the past because I didn't feel that they were well built, but it appears that they have only changed the sole to be more non-slip and left the rest of the construction the same. My feet and knees feel 100% better in a new pair.Fast forward two years: won’t buy Mozo shoes ever again. Two pairs that wore out and had some separation within 6 months. Shoes for Crews took the best shoes ever and ruined them. And they still cost just as much, the only reason I would EVER buy from SFC is that they’re cheap. But not if you have to replace them four times a year -
Mozo was my go to kitchen shoes for 6-7 yearsHeld up well for the hours spent in themThis last pair didn’t make it 3 months and is falling apart , are uncomfortable and worn down.Since Shoes for Crews took them over , they don’t last anymore , feel cheaply made
These shoes work good for me I’m on my feet long hours every day. Good slip resistance. They are fair in price. The durability is good but not fantastic. But of the Shoes for Crews line I find them the best.
As a professional chef, I've sworn by Sears Diehards on my feet for over three decades. It was hard for me to try a new shoe, but I liked the looks of these. Well, I am glad I did because they're awesome. Been wearing them two weeks now (over 100 hours) and couldn't be happier. Talk about traction on slippery floors! They're comfortable and clean up so easily. If you're thinking about buying these shoes, just do it. You'll not regret it.
I love it. The best buy good confort, excellent quality I like to work with this shoes
While overall I really liked this shoe, it's unfortunately just a little narrow. I have a wide foot, and so it's hard to find a truly wide shoe that offers the durability and slip resistance I need when for some reason or another a shoe I'd been happy with gets discontinued or is otherwise unavailable when it comes time for a new pair. Usually I'm stuck ordering a generic "wide" version and hoping for the best. While I'm usually mostly ok, even if the shoe is slightly narrower than I'd like, the construction of these shoes, being a slip on and with a more rubbery sole material just didn't give me the fit I needed. The rest of the features in the days I was giving them a try were great. They were initially very comfortable, the soles are well patterned for good slip resistance, and the outer material kept my feet dry. If these are a "2E", I guess I'd need Mozo to make a "3E" before I could wear this day to day without discomfort.
So.. Mozo made the Setta shoe. A shoe made in the early years when it was a privately owned company. Also a slip on. I bought several pairs for work. They were terrific. The Forza is a good shoe for some. Unfortunately not for me. The elastic around the opening area on the top is quite small and tight for my instep. It wouldn’t allow my foot to get into the shoe without serious struggle even with a shoe horn. Not at all comfortable. The toe bed was ok. The non- slip sole also a good feature. I liked the optional insert true to fit choices for the foot bed. The ups and downs of shoe shopping. I hope this helps … cheers!!
