I've been searching for a shoe to work in and affordable and I found it. Thanks
I really like these shoes. I'm in my mid 30's and Lugz was the first legit boot I owned growing up. I like how they are VERY affordable and look nice at the same time. Lugz is a name. It's not the biggest of names, but reputable.I like these particular shoes because they go with a lot of outfits and the grays can be matched and worn with almost anything. It's not a very common color, so they really stick out. I got lots of compliments about these (even though I don't dress to impress others). They feel nice on my feet. I have VERY low archs. Almost none. I have plantar factitious, but wearing these gives me not trouble. I did add a different arch support pad, but I do with all my shoes. Even without them, these did nice. I've been wearing them pretty consistently for the last 5 months or so. No wear and tear at all. I like the little lift it gives me too! Makes me a 1 or 2 taller :) I'm going to get other colors, so you get some too.
I walk 20-30k steps everyday at work where I’m constantly in and out of water. These shoes have held up although I finally spent $165 on a pair of “muck boots company” Apex boots which perform about the same as these in both water resistance and comfort. My only advice is spend some coin and get better inserts.
I rated these shoes 5 stars because I have always liked Lugz and because I like the look. They're heavy and durable. Definitely true to size. In the sense of comfortability, though, on a scale of 1-to-5, I would have to rate 'em a 3. But they are well worth the purchase price, so I would definitely recommend buying them.
Love lugz, but my leather lugz were heavy and cut into the back of my ankle. Decided to try the balistic lugz and pretty happy with them. They fit true to size and are slightly wide. I wear a 10.5 wide but I bought 11 reg. The 11 reg was roomy and wide, I should have bought 10.5 wide but if I double up socks, fit is excellent. These baliastic lugz are lighter than the leather ones I have and don't cut into my ankle. The manmade material is a little shiny and looks good, I would prefer a no gloss look, but still happy.
The inner sole at heal on left foot has given way. These boots did not last three months. They were not worn every day but about 3-4 days a week. Spend a little more and get something more reliable. If they can fix the issue than these would be a pretty decent boot and would buy them again but as it stands at this moment no. I am now using them as a my only kick around local bushcraft boot and even though my left foot is collapsing into the heal I will use them up till I can get a more durable pair of low cut boot.
Seriously, These shoes are Epic, Coming from a 36 year old father of two, who is always on the go. They have this magical fabric on the outside, that sparkles, and is tough as nails, It feels high quality to the touch. The padding is perfect for us being on our feet most of the day, and the look, for me, is exactly what I have been wearing for the last 20 years. and I love it. I have never had this type of quality before tho, in all 20 years. these far surpass all expectations. Strong Built to last and good on the back. Can't ask for more, except a bigger discount lol.
I really liked these shoes...good fit, good look and comfortable. Unfortunately the soles and heel just don't hold up and only after wearing them for about 3 months. The first thing to go was the sole on both shoes, as they both split right along the area where the heel meets the sole. Both shoes split the width of the sole in that area. About a month later, I noticed that I didn't have the heel support that I once did with the right shoe and upon checking, I noticed that a portion of the heel had actually become detached from the shoe. It was at that time that I noted the heel to be basically hollow. To look at the shoes at first glance, they still look really good. If they can figure out what to do about the soles cracking and the heels dislodging from the shoe, I would definitely try them again. But only lasting 3 months is unacceptable and I am not hard on shoes at all.
